Graham befuddles Froch and makes him look foolish like Dirrell did but unlike Dirrell he walks into a punch eventually and gets stopped.
Well a slickster like Ward gave Froch plenty of problems but he also had strength and a bit of power to go with it. Graham isn’t as strong as or has as much power as Ward and isn’t as big. I think he would befuddle Froch the first half of the fight and at times make him look foolish. Froch however is a determined and committed so and so and would keep coming especially as Graham hadn’t anything power wise to deter him. I see Froch catching up with him and stopping him late, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Graham held on and eked out a hard fought decision it may even be split.
Herol was a class act. But he was fighting at JMW and MW in his prime, back in the days of same day weigh-ins. So he’d either have given up a lot of weight, or being a lesser fighter if he’d have added bulk. I’d have had to have gone with Carl. But it wouldn’t have been a certainty. Because Herol was still good when he fought Brewer in his late 30’s at the weight.
Assuming this is at 168lbs with day before weigh in, I'd pick the bigger Froch by stoppage in the 2nd half of the scheduled fight whilst behind on points.
Which to be fair he always did find a way to lose his important fights. And as @Greg Price99 said Graham's best weight was Middleweight and this would be taking place at Super Middleweight.
I actually forgot, Was thinking of middle weight. Not sure now I think about it at the higher weight, that's where Carl was naturally. Maybe Herol win s the first half of the fight then Froch comes on strong and stops him
I want to pick Froch and I have but it’s takes a very skilled fighter to beat and or knockout Graham at his peak like McCallum, Julian Jackson or Sumbu Kalambay. Damn it Froch by KO.
