Was gonna say Jones and Robinson, but they’ve already been mentioned.
I’ll go with Bakole, he’s so fluid with his offence and combinations, he can throw any punch as a double.

    Hi bud,

Thanks. Great post. I love Louis-Baer. That triple left hook Louis landed on Baer is the greatest display of one handed combination punching i have ever seen. Great pick.

You too. Take care. Chat soon.

I’m not the biggest Tyson guy, as everyone knows, but that left hook to the body/left uppercut combo was vicious.

Tony Tucker could also throw triple left hooks.

Canelo used to double up on the left hook to body and head very effectively, and he sometimes doubled up on the straight right hand, particularly when opponents were trying to get out of range, he would just intercept them with a second right hand on the way out.

That's who I was thinking of. Very versatile, and could possibly throw every punch of his two times or three times over. I liked his use of the right hand to throw it as a disruptor, even when it was just an arm punch. I think that way too many guys punch just to try and hurt the opponent.

Yeah I wish more realised that punches don’t have to be thrown so invested in the shot, a good jabs accurate not hard, you let a good one go at the right time, you have a lot to lose if you aren’t careful with a right thrown with murder behind it.

Lewis landed three good right uppercuts in the fight against Fortune.

    Great post Mike.

Louis’ triple left hooks on Baer came to my mind also. Who does that and with each punch fully laden, no sacrifice in power.

Ali did a very nice double left hook followed by a right hand on Cleveland Williams but in comparison, those three hooks Louis laid on Maxie Baer still win hands down for mine.

Coincidentally, Cleve Williams could double, triple up on the left hook quite nicely at times - see his fights vs Liston for just two examples.
