Can someone explain to me why people rate Usyk above Mayweather & Pacquiao ?

You think the Belly who fought Wlad is the same version who fought Usyk ?
Are you suggesting he didn't take Chisora and Wilder seriously the first time ? That would be some serious revision

I don’t rate usyk above them. It’s the depth in pro boxing where he lacks.

I understand he turned pro late, but that’s his own issue and why he has such a big amateur career.

The best version we've seen since he fought Wlad? Absolutely.

    Remember ''Don't mention Wilder''?

He obviously took all those opponents he fought rematches against more seriously because he knocked them all out or stopped them in said rematches against them and none of the rematches were as competitive or remotely as competitive as his first fights against them.

If Belly was the same version who fought Ngannou and who looked like crap against numerous other low or much lower level opponents he never would've become HW champion in the first place, let alone won every belt there is to win in his opponent's backyards and beat way better fighters than them, genius

I disagree, he looked better in Wilder 2, didn't get dropped previously by a novice, and was 4 years younger, but you're entitled to your opinion
Or maybe he figured out gameplans or adapted like he did against Wilder aka Sugar Hill teaching him an aggressive approach which is why he done better. He was just as serious in fight 1.

Wilder was a fringe contender keeping the belt warm and he's Furys 2nd best win. Furys best win happened a decade ago and Wlad was 40

wilder being the second greatest win says it all
Despite being a fan of Fury, his resume stinks and he is not a great fighter. Wlad was just old and if Fury can fight below standards? Well you can say the same for Wlad

Wlad was HIGHLY motivated for the rematch, but Fury bottled it. Wlad was older than Fury and usyk when they fought and had way more miles on the clock

I have little doubt that Wlad from around the time of Haye would have delt with any version of Fury and AJ

You're the one who said don't mention Wilder. Hence why I wrapped it in quotes

Meaning he's not worth mentioning and is obviously not near Usyk's level or skill level. Your logic

Yes he adapted by taking them more seriously and knocking them out or stopping them in the rematches

So do you think all those much lower level fighters he struggled against or looked like crap against are better than Wlad, The Dosser and Usyk?

He didn't need to be taught how to fight aggressively he already knew how to do that

And that novice might have been a novice but he was 272lbs of ripped solid muscle and he's widely considered the hardest HW puncher in MMA history. If there's one thing he knows how to do is punch

He hits ridiculously hard and many of these KOs were seconds into the 1st round or very early and against great HWs, champs or top contenders

    This content is protected

And it's not like there hasn't been numerous other boxers who've struggled or lost against MMA fighter novices, including Floyd

Floyd did not struggle with Conor He didn't throw a punch for 3 rounds and was smiling and looking at cameras pre rounds

He walked out wearing a balaclava because he was robbing the public

That wasn't a struggle, that was a boxer carrying a novice for entertainment

He absolutely did struggle with him. He not only got outboxed by him whilst Sugar ''Money'' Mac still had air in his lungs but he got outslicked by him too. Floyd always struggled against slickness and he was also at a reach disadvantage in that one which was extremely rare for him

Not to mention that, unlike Ngannou, Sugar ''Money'' Mac trained on whisky. Hence why his gas tanks ran dry after 3-4 rounds

    Nope. He did struggle

Excuses for one but not the other?

Floyd didn't take Sugar ''Money'' Mac seriously but Belly took Ngannou seriously?

Floyd wasn’t floored, battered and saved by judging

Pillow fisted Floyd stopped his opponent

Anyway I'm not debating this. If you think Floyd struggled? That's fine

Belly wasn't facing a fighter who trained on whisky he was fighting the hardest punching MMA HW of all time who is a walking HL KO HL reel

Floyd stopped someone who was running on fumes for half the fight and who was completely out of gas

Yeah I do and I've also said Floyd ranks higher on the ATG list than bum Usyk so I'm not sure why his fangirls are all in their feelings

    2 things from me;

    1) Floyd DID NOT struggle with Conor (a guy who was huge compared to him). He literally played with him.

    2) scoring a ko in a rematch doesnt necessarily mean there is an improvement in a person. There is an improved result and closure however your opponent could also be more aggressive and trying to get a ko, which opens up ko opportunities.
A good recent example of this is usyk fury 2, usyk was better in the 2nd fight, but had less highlight successes, no kd, (i believe the first fight had a poor referee decision in calling it a kd and usyk should have been trying to finish the job).

I just think Floyd doesn't get the fair shake, because he's a dickhead and his iv. His fangirls if your alluding to me just want honest opinions not blind by hatred

Floyd did tip the scales and he has controversy. Though imo most athletes dope, but that's a different topic

Floyd has the highest plus/minus in compu box history and it isn't by a small margin either

Truth be told. Although I think Floyd is better, he isn't greater than manny pacquiao. And neither is usyk by the way

Pacquiao as far as daring to be great, resume and excitement is the true goat of this century. As much as I admire Floyd for his skills, I'm not sure I can place him ahead of manny and all trolling aside. I don't think usyk is even close to pacquiao

He did struggle, This narrative many Floyd fans spin about Floyd allowing the much bigger man to walk him into counters and catch him clean is comical. It's pure damage control

Sometimes. But the fact is know Belly struggles to get up for some opponents and performs much better against far superior ones and the fact is he did much better in all his rematches prior to Usyk and stopped or KO'd his opponents in fights which weren't near as competitive.

Serious, motivated Belly is obviously much more formidable than the version who isn't and I'm not even sure, outside of Usyk hate, why people are even trying to argue otherwise.

You (not you) can be of the opinion he's overrated and Usyk isn't really that good like their North American unbeatable gods and just got lucky whilst still acknowledging this but they're loath to do so
