The fight that remained in your memory the most.

From what I watched live it's Joshua vs Klitschko.
Wlad giving his all and finally going out of his shield while being past his prime was great to watch.

If it's a fight in general it's Tyson vs Berbick.

Hagler vs Leonard. Ray won.

 

Until recently it was Foreman-Holyfield, because I was such a Foreman fan, and it was just a great moment with my family. My Uncle got it on PPV and invited some friends over, and in that seventh round, we were screaming so hard, people were coming in off the streets to see who was winning.

Usyk-Fury 1, lately. I hadn't gotten a PPV in years, but I got that one, and in that ninth round, when Usyk put it on him, I started screaming and jumping, and my two-year old, who had no idea what was going in, started screaming and jumping up and down with me. My six year old came running in thinking something was wrong and I just yelled to her, "Our boy is winning!"

Two wonderful memories.

 

Seemingly is the right word… I bash this bout but I’m sick of the whole… “Sickening body shots!” “How did he survive?!” “ATG fight” lol it’s not, Ali beat the **** out of George pretty much the entire fight, when he was “losing” he was picking shots off tiring out GF and rolled with pretty much everything because he telegraphed so hard… Ali pretty much didn’t lose a round. Even the David vs Goliath type angle is funny as Ali himself didn’t understand it saying they’re the same size.

 

You tend to remember those sorts of things vividly! South Africa is the Wild West brother bet you got barrels of stories.

 

Too many… as a kid Gerald McCellan highlights were always on I used so much data watching the Gman flatline opponents.

Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marvelous Marvin Hagler …my first super fight

 

Of fights I saw on live tv? Hagler-Hearns made an impression, but nothing comes close to the magnitude of Tyson-Douglas. Absolutely the clearest sporting event memory of my childhood.

I also remember the Super Bowl shuffle pretty well for whatever reason.

 

The first fight I remember watching Was Matthew Saad Muhammed versus Marvin Johnson 2. Couldn't believe how much punishment two men could take. The fight that got me into boxing permanently was the Hearns-SRL 1 fight.

 

I remember that fight as well. I had just taken up Boxing myself. And Wlad looked way dangerous, super muscular and all. And Sanders just looked like a regular dude not impressive at all. Until the fight got on. I remember talking to my trainer about it and we talked about how Wlad must have had completely underestimated Sanders.

 

Bert Cooper's destruction of Willie DeWitt on ABC. The value of keeping your hands up was never more clear.

 

Tokyo 90 of course!

 

Duran-Leonard I (Montreal 1980)---to this day the greatest fight I ever saw. It was literally 15 rounds of hand to hand combat! Off the charts intensity every second! Both fighters gave an incredible performance!

It was Duran's finest hour in the ring--and while Leonard was goaded into fighting Duran's fight he gamely slugged it out in the trenches with him toe to toe from the opening bell and came pretty close to pulling out the decision. His performance was in its own way as remarkable as Duran's!

I re-watch this fight every year-and I get the same adrenaline rush viewing it 45 years later as I did when I saw it live!!
