    Does anyone rate him?

He always takes carefully selected fights where his opponent is a huge under dog and he should blow them away. Yet he seems to always struggle and then he brings out any kind of excuse as to why. But before the fights he's talking about how great he is, how his opponents aren't on his level etc. His latest was he's Thierry Henry etc etc he's him, jazza is not skilled enough blah blah

Then he goes and get stood on his head by this "not on his level" jazza. I was curious to see his excuse as it was a very one sided and he was clearly shown to be an inferior boxer. He's chosen to blame ring rust.

He also always avoids true hard fights. Avoided that sam kid on his come up, cacace recently, turned down a title shot aganst stevenson. I think the only time he's had close odds was against rakhimov and he only took that as he had a built in excuse of short notice, except he was already in camp for a different fight so had the same prep time as rhakimov.

Personally I've never seen a fighter talk himself up so much and deliver so little in the ring.

    Opinions?

Tired of his dad saying "we come from the streets" in every interview.

    Pat.

Most boxers are tough and grew up on council estates. For a man of his age it's embarrassing.

Thought he performed really well in losing VS Raihkmov, has great athletic gifts but Jazza had him beat with ring IQ.

I think Zelfa is a cracking fighter. Jazza looked sharp and strong and fully motivated. Zelfa will come again and learn from the fight.

Why do you think he's a cracking fighter?

His fights he is usually atleast a 4 to 1 favourite which says a lot about how he picks his opposition and he still manages to struggle

    Tell me more

I like to watch Zelfa box. He moves well, good work rate and is tough. I am not that bothered if a fighter wins or loses. It happens and Zelfas losses do not change my opinion of him. He comes across well and seems like a nice kid.

He's nowhere near as good as he, and others around him, think he is. Got found out against Ronnie Clark early on in his career. Maybe that was just a bad night for him, did well to come back from it but European level is pretty much his ceiling, I'd say.

    Very accurate

His record is padded with carefully selected fights and he has honestly never looked impressive, always manages to make a meal out of his hand picked opponents but speaks like he's the second coming

Dodged so many good fights. Cacace sharp bowen. All at domestic level. Got a gift of a decision against a true super bantum in kiko. Lost to Clarke. Never got the hype around him.

I thought he was a big talent before the Clarke fight

Domestic level fighter. But good on him for turning his life around and making a go in the pros. Other than that he just hasnt pushed on.

I would say he is above domestic but below world level. Lacks the ring IQ to hang in with the divisions best but no shame in that and he has had a decent career so far. At least he is entertaining to watch which means he brings value to a card.
