What a great match up! Hopefully they make it official soon.

What happened to the postponed Ioka match?

I'm guessing Bam's promoter was able to convince Martinez of a good deal after the Ioka rematch fell through. Truth be told I don't think there was really any point of a rematch with Ioka given how one sided the fight was and I think Martinez only pursued a second fight because it pays well in Japan.

Best fight at the weight easily. Winner should move up and fight Junto immediately

I don't know what to trust anymore but now there is another rumor saying that Puma vs Ioka rematch is almost finalized for April 22nd in Japan.

I believe an announcement from Turki over anything else. When Turki announces it, it’s a done deal.

Well obviously this time it is real, but the spring rumor by Hearn was definitely wrong.

I think I get why Turki announced this before the Cafu fight -- motivation for Bam. If Turki is serious about only wanting guys who make exciting fights, I mean, Bam is one of them (no shrinking ring gimmick needed if Bam is in there). If Bam goes out there and wrecks Cafu, it'll build the fight with Puma up more. With one Saudi fight signed and more on the horizon if Bam impresses Turki, Bam's probably focused as hell.

Well, to follow up on my own post, Bam ran over Cafu like a truck the first time Cafu finally got out of that corner. And now the Puma fight approaches.

I thought, let's see what betting odds are. Bam is at -1200. Lol.

Best fight on the Nov. 22nd card

If Kenshiro Teraji defeats Willibaldo Garcia Perez on Nov. 27th and wins the IBF title, I wouldn't mind seeing Bam vs Kenshiro for undisputed before Bam moves up

Bam is definitely aiming for undisputed at 115. His team is thinking -- rightfully so -- he's a heavy favorite at 115 against anyone in the division and very capable of becoming undisputed. Why not do it?

I can't think of anyone at 115 that is likely to see the final bell against Bam, with how he's been looking. Puma's got a rough night coming up.

This is the fight that I'm looking forward to the most this Saturday on a great card. Martinez is relentless but does he have more than just workrate to beat a guy as talented as Bam?
