Dubois Parker was the better fight IMO, because Dubois has really explosive feet. Bakole has good hand speed and is decent at cutting the ring off but his feet are slow as ****

This has taken Parker from slight underdog to slight favourite in my mind.

    Fantastic replacement.

Fair f*cks to Parker for taking this fight. Huge risk low reward fight.

Any bets on how heavy Bakole is going to come in at? I reckon 296lbs.

I'm not going to predict the fight until I know what his weight is TBH.

If Bakole takes sick, Mark De Mori is ready to go.

Billy Nelson said last week that Bakole is already lighter than he was against Anderson...

I thought Parker coming in heavy against dubios was a bad idea and it’s an even worse idea against bakole, but Martin is a fat ******* even when he’s had a full camp let alone a short notice one and I doubt he had already started his camp for his may fight.

The way Bakole jumped on this makes me think he's in great shape

Or he doesn't rate Parker to highly

Either way I think Parker boxes his noggin off

I think Bakole will be in shape (his shape) as I reckon he may have been on standby replacement training for any of the 4 HWs on the card...Its not usual for guys to be told to train incase of a pull out and be ready to step in especially when its Turki money.
Great opportunity for Bakole here to back up his lunch time stories of sparring title fights but very sorry for JP as this could be a mental banana peel for him considering how focussed and prepared, he was for DD and the title shot

Do you reckon Team Parker is quickly watching Bakole's fights? I think old Parker could have done what Anderson was trying to do to Parker successfully. Not sure what this form of Parker will plan on doing, probably the same as with Dubois.

These two have sparred many rounds together and Bakole has never spoken about dominating JP which seems unusual for him... Parker to out box him

    Let's be realistic...

Parkers best wins are Zhang, Chisora, Wilder, etc.

Bakoles best is a very old Takam, none of his other wins get close.

You're damn right I'd expect Parker to box his ears off...

You're right about Bakole having a bit of mini-Zhang about him, you're also right that a cruder fighter will take less disadvantage in a late replacement fight than a thorough tactical fighter... I still think there's levels here and it'll show - Bakole is very heavily hyped around here whilst Parker is slept on.
