Parker-Bakole is ON!!!

Full camps are always better, for sure.

I just think levels will show here - Bakole's best win by a distance is still 42 year old Takam... That's not commensurate with the hype he gets here.

Solid fighter definitely, potential sure, but to be any kind of favourite against a proven legit contender? No way. A better fight than Dubois? No way.

 

Bakole hasn't been given a shot.

He's going to slap Parker around the ring on 2 days notice then call out the gappy toothed midget or the bodybuilding bum.

All hail King Bakole.

 

What we really need to know is how deep in camp was Bakole? Also what sort of shape is he in? Can he do 12 or will he gas? @billy nelson Very interesting match up though the winner is in a good position. Feel for Joe though losing his shot in the short term but if he beats Bakole its a very good win, Turki will have crossed his palm with some more wonga to take Bakole I'm sure.

 

On one hand, i am excited Turki pulled this off.

On the other hand, i am skeptical that team Bakole will accept a loss without making excuses. Bakole still makes excuses for the Hunter fight so if Parker wins, Bakole and his fans will make the same excuses all over again.

 

Respect to Parker for taking this fight win, lose or draw. It’s a tough assignment for him.

Bakole has been in camp for at least 6 weeks

 

Looking on IG, Bakole looks fat. I know he carries the weight very well but he is fight ready? I can see Parker looking like Ray Leonard out there boxing circles around a fat and tired Bakole.....

 

Do you think they half expected it

 

Am I the only one that thinks this is a way easier fight than DD for Parker?

Bakole is slow and heavy, sure he punches hard but Parker had a good night against Zhang and he’s a better version of Bakole (I think) plus Bakole got stopped by Hunter!

lets go! as far as possible replacements go this is as good as it could get. would struggle to name better possible replacements on one hand.

Now if Bakole loses he can still have some credibility having taken the fight so last minute. But if Parker loses...can we say he didn't have enough time to prepare for the style of bakole or has parkers stock in the division gone out the window completely.

Either way both deserve props for taking this fight so last minute.
