Why doesn't Beterbiev respect Bivol?

For what it's worth I had it a draw when I first watched it live.

A few days later after a second rewatch I scored it 7-5 for Beterbiev. He finished stronger in the last 3 rounds.

It was 5-4 in favour of Bivol at the end of round 9 for me. Bivol won rounds 8 and 9 very clearly for me and rallied back very strong after being battered and pushed back in the second half of round 7.

There was no robbery.

The judge that scored it 8-4 to Beterbiev is the same judge that scored it 9-3 to Bivol in his fight against Zurdo. No bias then. He just favoured higher output.

On 22nd February all wrongs will be correctly and the rightful winner will take his place at 175lbs.

 

He did.

Beterbiev doesn't have any charisma and is a clear juicer so must be the kos

 

who gives a **** about personality, I watch boxing for entertainment in the ring. The man is an absolute beast and a first ballot hall of famer

Name a single LHW other than Beterbiev who you'd favor over Bivol.

 

1. Say what you want about Fury, he's a promoter's dream once a fight is signed. Don't need to do anything other than schedule public appearances and let him take it from there. Beterbiev? Bivol? Lol. They couldn't sell a slut to an incel. Great fighters though. Legends.

2. You pick the ONE thing Holmes legitimately did wrong/bad in his entire long career... and he did it because the guy was talking smack about his wife. Holmes was interesting in a way -- a no charisma guy who TRIED his best to market his fights, but due to the no charisma, he just wasn't successful at it, and we mostly ended up with salty comments and bad rhymes. Great fighter though. Legend.

 

Bivol has my respect because he is the first one Beterbiev didn't knock out.

 

Lol Beterbiev isn't even a big draw. He doesn't even have a large fan base. This thread is dumb.

It goes back to their time in the Soviet Russia amateur team. Beterbiev being the elder statesman and he probably thinking of Bivol as the younger snotty nosed kid.

 

Boxing fans knew him from schooling the likes of Jean Pascal, Gilberto Ramirez and Joe Smith Jr

Bivol is better p4p than canelo anyway. He even offered to go down to 168 for a rematch and canelo turned that down too cause he obviously knew it'd be another loss.

He's an an A level, elite boxer with a fantastic ring IQ, he has everything apart from power. Stop being a hater

 

He looked like a bum against Beterbiev. Yarde did better against Beterbiev than Bivol did.

 

Bivol ducked him for years and lied about fight negotiations.
