Parker weighing in at 267 lbs

Too heavy.

 

That's 20 pounds heavier than his last fight. A dozen pounds heavier than when he lost to Joyce.

Is he fat or juicing? He's never been remotely that big for a fight.

 

That's way too heavy that's like 20 pounds heavier than he was vs Zhang, Wilder. And even 10 pounds heavier than he was vs Joyce in which people complained he was too heavy.

Maybe he thinks he needs the extra weight for durability and power I'm not sure I agree with it though.

 

I agree that weight is a bit strange that's an extreme weight difference if you're judging his weight based on his whole career.

 

Bad idea against heavier opponents as well. Parker needs speed and movement.

If he tries to trade with Bakole, it won't go well.

 

The extra weight will just slow him down, he'll need quick footwork and other movement to defeat Bakole.

 

Yeah, I figured he'd move a bit ... even when facing Dubois. Is he coming in looking to go toe-to-toe?

 

267 is a career-high for Parker after weighing in at 255 for Joyce (and the extra weight didn't help him at all them). And it's also 20+ lbs heavier than his previous two fights.

 

know he said in interviews he was putting weight on for the past year in preparation for the zhang rematch that never happened. assumed he would have gone back down since then, maybe he struggled to get the weight back down? idk.

 

He's on them good roids now

Parker Bakole is going to be about Stamina now. Both will tire down the stretch.

Bakole doesn't look in great nick. Man is on a flight as we speak. LOL.
