What are some subtle flaws that you’ve noticed in Crawford’s overall style?

I noticed he tends to leave his head exposed a bit when he throws shots to the body and a quick counter puncher can make him paid with short straight punches if he’s not too careful. Not really a technical flaw, but he tends to be too overly aggressive when he gets hit a few times trying to return fire right away and that can be a mistake against a high IQ boxer who can exploit that to his advantage.

Honestly.... your assessment is exactly why I laugh when people favor him over Floyd, Cotto, Manny, Duran, Benitez, and Tszyu. He isn't the most defensive fighter, he tends to leave his head up in the air when exchanging, and he doesn't really like pressure. A sharp-counter puncher and elite pressure fighter would be a nightmare for him.

He would beat the **** out of Cotto and Tszyu IMO.

He becomes stationary and just abandons defense when analyzing opponents.

He has little to no upper body movement. Canelo is going to land a lot, but we’ll find out if Crawford can absorb those shots and retaliate like he normally does.

Yup not much head & body movement but uses his feet for defence, will tend to ring circle for defense but rarely gets put in that situation.

his biggest flaw is his trash resume as people have already noted

Can’t name too many top fighters if any today with resumes that holes can’t be poked through.

Crawford isn't a defense first fighter. He's going to get hit once in a while. It comes with the territory of being a brawler. His active gameplan in most of the fights is to punch with his opponent. It's part of what makes him exciting.

Exactly, his timing and punching inside his opponents punches is elite. He is still rarely caught clean. Compare that to someone like Boots who just gets caught flush for no reason when he isn't punching. Crawford's defence isn't the best ever but it is still very good considering his style.
