If, by his own admission, he hadn't started camp yet, I find it impossible to believe he is match ready for this fight. All Parker needs to do is fight cautiously for the first several rounds until Bakole runs out of gas.
OK, contrary to what Billy Nelson said four days ago in that interview, people are saying Bakole looks really heavy and that he looked a lot heavier than what Billy Nelson said he weighed there. Apparently he posted a photo of himself on social media last week where one pundit reckons he looks 320-330lbs. I don't think he's that heavy but maybe he is. But even if he's 300lbs like he was against Takam he will be extremely dangerous for the first six rounds. His punches were seriously heavy at that weight and he still had good hand speed and form and accuracy at that weight Assuming the first one is from yesterday Looks fat and very heavy here This content is protected Doesn't look bad in this one though This content is protected
I I don't have the courage to vote but... I'll repeat myself. For me, a fight with Dubois would be harder for Parker to win than a fight with Martin. Why? People write that Parker doesn't like pressure. Ok. But Bakole is not a guy who imposes incredible pressure throughout the fight. He shines when you go into an open exchange with him. When someone is boxing, he's not so pretty. Dubois would have an advantage over Parker in almost everything except details. Especially the lack of a speed advantage would do the trick. Bakole will be much slower on his feet than Parker. And if Parker fights wisely, he will have to chase him around the ring without form... Bakole is a lazy person. He didn't finish the barely alive Yoki only because he didn't have the strength himself and the only great moments were when Tony found the balls to do anything in the ring. Bakole is a tough opponent. Very tough, even. IMO he would beat Dubois because of style. But Parker has a better chance against him than against Daniel.
With no training he won`t be sharp and Joe will be too quick, however Joe has came in at a career heaviest of 267lbs which will slow him right down, he came in around 255 v Joyce and was very sluggish.
The 267 pound Parker almost unrecognizable at the weigh in. Won't be a walk in the park for Parker because Bakole has heavy hands and a decent chin.
If Bakole weighs 285 ish it would be great for him, even if he's 300lbs he's going to be crazy dangerous for the first six rounds. We've seen him in the ring that heavy (300lbs) and he looked fat but also fearsome. Conversely, we've never seen J-Park weighing 267 or near that much before. I should imagine he's in top shape but how will his stamina hold up at that weight against a 300lb terminator walking him down? Bakole isn't going to throw 3 punches a round like Big Bang
Bakole may or not of been in the gym for the past 8 weeks as theyre saying but If he hasn't been sparring plus the no prep mentally for JP then I can't see him winning. You'd have to go with Joseph
Jet Lagged Bakole just coming of a Boeing 787, I hope Turki paid for some extra leg room for the big fella to be seated in First class. But Bakole didn't do himself any favors wearing them tight pants. Tight pants on a long cross continental flight will cause some blood restrictions in the legs. Which might make it difficult to get his feet moving during the fight. Here he is finally arrived:- This content is protected Looks jet lagged, tired, and walking a little wobbly from carrying the extra weight while also wearing tight pants during a fairly long flight where he possibly had limited leg room even in First Class. I would have picked Bakole to win, but after seeing the state he is in, I'm going for Parker UD12 over Jet Lagged Bakole.
Hopefully so. He should've be treat like a king during his flight and I should imagine Turki would've had him flying First Class and paid to make it as comfortable as possible for him He does look tired and understandably so. That being said, he looks in decent shape, better shape than some speculated he was in. Rocking the tight pantaloons was ill-advised for more than one reason Arriving late the night before the fight after a long flight does make me concerned for his chances but if he make sure he gets a good nights sleep his battery could be charged to full come tomorrow or rather later on today
Same. Parker's never been particularly heavy handed - all of his best wins are by points for a reason. It's not impossible that Bakole comes in heavy and gasses badly enough that Parker could KO him - but I'm not even sure he'd try to, when he's likely to already be so far ahead on the cards that it's safer to cruise to a wide UD. I'm with you - Parker by points is by far the most likely outcome for this one.
I think Parker wins easily bakole isn’t prepared and go into Saudi so late today he couldn’t make weigh ins the jet lag will get him, I expect fatigue to set in around round 5 and Parker boxes circles around him all night
The smart money is on the first 5 rounds being make or break for Bakole. It's a free hit up for him which makes him dangerous. Parker has more to lose if the fight goes south. I actually don't like this fight for Bakole though. He's a come forward fighter but is very thoughtful with his shot selection which will play into Parker's in and out, smash and grab style. His work is more similar to Zhang as opposed to the battering the door down style of Dubois. He does have good activity but again, he won't be operating at an optimum level. The fight will probably have a few fireworks early on but if it goes into deep waters and Parker avoids eating leather he will keep the scoreboard ticking over for a UD.
I'm hoping that second one is an AI photo, as he is still fat as ****, head to toe in Gucci, and wearing two watches
