im very interested in seeing how Bakole goes about this. Does he fight at a measured pace, looking for openings here and there? Or just go for broke right from the start and try to end it within a few rounds? Interesting position he’s in.
I'm surprised at how good Parker looked at 267lbs, he's carrying a little belly fat but it's clear most of the extra weight is muscle, but muscle requires more energy to sustain it than fat, I hope he hasn't neglected cardio while packing the weight on. But with Bakole coming in the size of a house and not having a big gas tank even when in fighting shape I guess Bakole isn't the opponent to test whether Parker can go 12 hard rounds.
yeah he’s surprisingly not very fat for being 267 at 6’4”. Much leaner than Fury was at that weight against Usyk the first time.
not a good idea.... parker had enough power at 240 to keep zhang honest. hes not a natural big puncher i dont think this added weight will have him magically start sleeping guys. hes just gonna be slower, easier to hit, and gas out faster
I hate this for Parker However, I’ve been saying for years that Parker is a much bigger guy than he’s made out to be. He’s leaner at 267 than Fury is….does that not indicate his lean mass is actually more than Fury? Likewise, AJ would have to look like a roid freak to weigh 267. Parker looks normal. Parker will be fine, he is finally at his "natural" weight as a heavyweight boxer, imagine if prime Tua was his height, he'd easily weigh more than Parker does now. He looks the same as always, just his muscles are a bit bigger, he has always carried a bit of extra fat, but he hasn't gottten any fatter. If he shaved his body and got a tan he would look quite a bit leaner.
