On the real IMO Bakole with a full camp beats Joe.
Believe it or not he actually throws the most punches per round of any active heavyweight. By some margin.

Will he be fit enough to sustain it tonight? I'm not all that confident. Parker doesn't wilt easily.

    My official predictions....

Joshua Buatsi vs. Callum Smith - Smith KO, early to mid.
Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah Sheeraz - Sheeraz KO, early to mid.
Shakur Stevenson vs. Josh Padley - Stevenson wide UD or late stoppage.
Zhilei Zhang vs. Agit Kabayel - Kabayel KO, mid to late.
Vergil Ortiz Jr vs. Israil Madrimov - Ortiz KO, mid rounds.
Joseph Parker vs. Martin Bakole - Bakole KO, early.
Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol II - Bivol close UD, or late KO.

I feel like if Bivol is more aggressive he can win. Seems like in the first fight he was a bit too cautious for obvious reasons as Beterbiev is a savage puncher. Even then it was at least to me a super close fight.

Exactly, Beterbiev did all that he could do, and was incapable of making adjustments, his greatest success came when Bivol was gassed out late, and his defenses start to lapse, even though his concentration didn't. Bivol is the far smarter fighter and I think he'll realize that if he starts out a little more circumspect, picking his shots well, paces himself, then he'll have more in the tank late and be more aggressive in the second half. You know his camp have been working on his stamina since the first fight ended.

Good stuff. I with you on everything except I think Parker will beat Bakole although Bakoke scares the **** out of me. I have gone back and forth on the main event but have landed on Bivol winning by UD. I thought he hung on for the win last time and I thing he will use his legs to get the nod this time around.

No round card girls? Not gonna watch.

Just kidding! I've been busy every single day since Christmas but I've cleared everything off my desk for this card. Meeting the son in law and friend (see photo) at a bar..I'm Ubering so I can drink.

That one would be tougher for me to call if Parker had shown up in tip top shape himself. But he didn't, which should be concerning to his backers. Yeah, Bakole is a career high 315, which is 15 pounds more than he was for Takam, but Parker is 20 pounds higher as well. So they'll probably cancel each other out in that respect.

I bet Bakole is a good bit lighter than the 315 he weighed in at as well. Fully clothed, shoes and it was 2 AM. Also, speaking from experience, water retention after long flights is a real thing. I've gained close to 10 lbs of water weight after long flights in the past and I'm nowhere near Bakole's size lol.

He's probably in similar shape to the Takam fight.

Yeah, I'd considered that as well, and if he's in Takam fight shape, Parker is ****ed.
