It does suck, but if Parker absolutely schools Bakole, I don’t think it hurts him. Isn’t he still the mandatory for Dubois?

 

Bakole hasn’t yet been very financially successful in the sport. He’s probably getting millions for this likely loss, which is pretty easy to write off given the circumstances. Realistically, he just needs to not lose horribly and it doesn’t hurt his standing. This is mostly a windfall for him.

and, entirely possible he wins, in which case his stock goes through the absolute roof. He’s got big two handed power, he’s skilled at the full selection of punches a man can throw, and he’s good at stringing combos together. He’s got a shot at this. Wouldn’t write him off entirely.

 

I don't think he's getting paid here much less money today than for an eventual Usyk fight. And he really has no business fighting Usyk, he may even get whitewashed, here he's getting a 2-day notice opponent who's grossly overweight. So no reason to feel sorry for him.

 

I meant enforce a mandatory on Dubois so the unification fight is not possible leaving Usyk open for Parker to enforce his mandatory.

 

I don't think Warren will allow Dubois to lose his IBF belt. He will somehow maneuver his way to a direct 2nd undisputed fight vs Usyk.

Dubois is a clean fighter that does do testing but with Parker the evidence is there with his body transformation and having that same doctor the cheats all have.
