You gotta love Beterbiev. He really didn't care about losing his 0. I wouldn't say he's taking the L gracefully, he just doesn't really care. That's amazing considering this era and everyone hanging onto their 0's.

Probably not a popular opinion but I do agree. Especially if you're of the opinion, like I am, that Bivol beat Beterbiev twice.

honestly, this’ll probably go down as the greatest LHW trilogy battle. Just incredible.

High level stuff from Beterbiev too, he's 40 years old and is still an elite fighter.

Think about it.. Beterbiev who is Russian knocks everyone out and is considered the "Sledge Hammer" until Bivol another Russian stands in front of him and takes his best shots while still pulling off the win on the judges cards. Great fight! Hats off to both fighters and thanks to Bivol for as of now I'm up some coin.

Well then I'd like to know what they were scoring for me Bivol clearly won 1-3 7-11 and its not really debatable to me.

The only clear rounds Beterbiev won were 4-6.

Usually the person that wins the 2nd fight wins the rubber match. I think Beterbiev, the longer he goes bit by bit the brick chips. He's 40+ and might've aged out of his best.

I don't think I need to see a 3rd fight. Benavidez ain't beating Bivol, he ain't beating Beterbiev either, unless Beterbiev sits down for 2 years and ages even more.

I would still like to see Beterbiev against guys who can't keep running away from him for 12 rounds.

That's probably what I would have scored based on recollection. Beterbiev looked like he was going to stop Bivol around 5 & 6, but Dmitry steadied the ship, and Artur slowed again. Bivol boxed beautifully in 10 & 11, showing much more activity and high ring IQ to nick those rounds from the busier - but less accurate - Artur

Is beating a 40 year old really a great win, Beterbiev is clearly far past his prime.

I'm totally on this boat, any order, and I expect we'll be ridiculed for it.
