Benavidez. Betebiev vs Bivol has become a "will he get robbed" drama, that's the only interesting thing in the fight. Will bivol be robbed again or not?. Bivol is the better fighter, that's all, it seems pretty clear imho.

Nevertheless, Bivol (one of the best p4p fighters imho) needs every single bit of his boxing IQ and a flawless strategy to win to a 40 yo man. I've see PED users performing physically worse than beterbiev at his 40.

 

Well then I'd like to know what they were scoring for me Bivol clearly won 1-3 7-11 and its not really debatable to me.

The only clear rounds Beterbiev won were 4-6.

 

Usually the person that wins the 2nd fight wins the rubber match. I think Beterbiev, the longer he goes bit by bit the brick chips. He's 40+ and might've aged out of his best.

I don't think I need to see a 3rd fight. Benavidez ain't beating Bivol, he ain't beating Beterbiev either, unless Beterbiev sits down for 2 years and ages even more.

 

I would still like to see Beterbiev against guys who can't keep running away from him for 12 rounds.

 

That's probably what I would have scored based on recollection. Beterbiev looked like he was going to stop Bivol around 5 & 6, but Dmitry steadied the ship, and Artur slowed again. Bivol boxed beautifully in 10 & 11, showing much more activity and high ring IQ to nick those rounds from the busier - but less accurate - Artur

 

Is beating a 40 year old really a great win, Beterbiev is clearly far past his prime.

I thought 12 was pretty clear for beterbiev

 

I went 115-113 Bivol

 

I can see a draw and 115-113 Bivol but 116-112 was too wide for me.

 

I had it 117-111 Bivol
