Only one opponent of Beterbiev has heard the final bell and Bivol has heard it twice.

These two guys are so far ahead any other in their division. One can see they are brought up in the same school and how they try to outsmart each other which they could easily to towards anyone else.

After a third fight Beterbiev may call it a day and retire. And the trilogy may have taken so many years off Bivol that after ,there may be actually some competitive fights left for him.

    Big head...

    I did too, though.

Two big heads are better than one, right,?...

I think so too, it's officially 1-1 althogh Bivol won both from my perspective, very competitive though.

Great fighter on great peds they should just let all fighters take any peds they want most probably do anyway at least no one would have a advantage

Bivol is a good fighter, but that was the oddest performance I've seen from him. I think Benevidez has a better chance now, where before I would think against Bivol wins it 80/20 its now now a 60/40 type fight.

I agree with this but I think bivol made the biggest adjustments he had to take risks and stay in range so he didn’t let beterbiev look like the aggressor, which is even more impressive when you think how disciplined he is with his range.
He had to adapt during the fight to and started to counter beterbievs work with his own and at times go toe to toe, this is not his natural style.
His performance in the first fight was special but his performance here was monumental.

There were a lot of close rounds and Beterbiev's defence was overlooked for the most part. Biev also had the benefit of being the aggressor. I'm not saying Beterbiev won since I had it a draw but I could see how you might score it for him. It was a very close fight however you cut it. Truth be told I really do just love Beterbiev though.

Why he's 40 yo and he's 1-1 with one of the best fighters in the sport who is in their prime and way younger than him? Bivol will be favoured to win the rematch now but the rubber match needs to happen. 40 year olds don't typically do what Beterbiev has done against prime top 5 P4P elites that much younger than them who pose a real stylistic challenge to them. It's incredibly rare and it's a testament to how good Beterbiev is even at this age

I had it a draw but 115-113 Bivol is also fair. One thing is for sure though. Bivol isn't cut from the same cloth as Betebiev. Running in the 12th like that. At the end of the day he couldn't beat a 40 year old man decisively across 2 fights. a trilogy is probably the best move, but it would probably be just more of the same. a competitive decision. The fight would have been decisive had it happened a few years sooner.
