I mean look at what Ruiz managed on short notice. Parker can only fight who's in front of him, the reality is that Bakole isn't as good as his sparring stories suggest.
He was 140 kgs obese, what was the point of this fight exactly ? Also there is no way that he is 31 years of age, please.
As @serioussam said it was pretty smart of him to show up and get his money. I think Bakole has 5 years left in his career, and this Tomashek-Morrison-esque fight actually gave to his name.
BS, he didn't go down like he was shot. He weebled, wobbled, then fell down. And he didn't get hit on the chin, nor did he get in the temple. He got hit on the very top of the middle of his forehead. Not only do most of the posters/writers on this site not know what they are talking about, they apparently can't see either!
This. They should’ve never let Bakole enter the ring in that condition. Bakole looked like he was about to give birth. That said Bakole is a disgrace for letting himself be that heavy, since as an active fighter he should always be in good shape, since he got the opportunity a lifetime and wasted it due to not watching his weight. I can’t see people wanting to spend good money to see him again.
You did say ' Bakole hasn't been given a shot. He's going to slap Parker around the ring on 2 days notice then call out the gappy toothed midget or the bodybuilding bum. All hail King Bakole.' Fury wouldn't fit under my bed man...
Absolutely folded didn't he, was scrambling about the place like the local drunk leaving a betting shop
I never thought bakole was the second coming like everyone on here was rating him but he’s better then he was tonight he got off the couch on short notice and arrived in Saudi Arabia the night before the fight the fatigue was against him big time
I have little hope for reckless heavyweights that think they can just march into shots to land a few. Their eyes will cut, they will swell, or they will run into something and get KTFO. Hardly any fighter survives long against top opposition fighting like that.
Hyperbole you say? Using over-exageration to illustrate a point? Unless it was ironic hyperbole, man, you were talking hyperbollocks... All good brother, you seem like a lovely person, peace and love, gbn x
Can't blame him. We've all been there, wanting some action and flying halfway across the world to get it.
I can’t work out whether Bakole has been played or he’s played us. Has the boxing business dangled and fed him a carrot to keep him waiting in the wings for some more time, taking advantage of the lack of promotion and backing he has. Or is he just a chancer, who knows his limitations and is happy for the pay day and exposure?
