If Kabayel thought Big George in the style that he fought Zhang how would he have got on? Obviously he runs the risk of taking 1 back but it would of been insane to see someone fight Big George they way Agit thought Zhang
Unlike Zhang, Big George is going to be throwing a strong, accurate jab. He would have a very tight guard, and would respond to Agit's body shots with some powerful body shots of his own. Agit did show a lot of heart getting up after taking that big bang that dropped him (pause), but Foreman was a significantly better finisher than Zhang who let many guys off the hook. Right now, I wouldn't be shocked if Agit could pull an upset against Foreman. His lateral movement and technique are remarkable for a guy weighing so much.
Good lord. Foreman by a vicious stoppage. You can't fight George going forward unless you have the power of a Lennox Lewis or Sonny Liston (and even those guys have a good chance of being tko'd if they try that) and Kabayel doesn't have that. Kabayel is a good fighter. Good jab, good body punching, good punch variation, above average power, good movement etc. But he isn't extraordinary at anything. He doesn't have the movement of a Holmes or an Usyk let alone Ali. He doesn't have exceptional handspeed like Louis or Ali. He doesn't have extraordinary combination punching ability of a Tyson or Louis. A good well rounded fighter who is fairly hittable isn't beating Foreman. Foreman would march forward and knock him out of the ring. Jesus.
Against any version of Foreman, it would probably be smarter to come in lighter. Weighing 240+ and trying to use your legs to move around Foreman is a very exhausting task. He might end up ironically gassing before Foreman does. Only boxer I could see doing that is maybe Joseph Parker, he carries that much weight without losing his speed and cardio to move around. Agit should be about 225-230 at most if that's his plan.
Kabayel would stop him. He's too tough for Foreman to stop early and Foreman would damn near die from the body attack and unflappable gastank of Kabayel.
Foreman has crossguard to cover body shots, control game and long guard to dictate distance more efficiently, and much more crafty punch selection on top of a fantastic jab and shattering power. That being said, Old George is not putting a bet on getting a decision against Kabayel (too much of a shrewd self-promoter) as I presume the question is about the comeback version, and post-Holyfield he is declining rapidly.
I remember when people were picking Joe Joyce to beat Mike Tyson in the general forum. This thread reminds me of that.
I never picked him to win I’m just saying it would be interesting if someone had the balls to fight Big George (comeback version ) in that style.
oh you meant the comeback version? yes that would be interesting. I wouldn't count out Kabayel. I am assuming you meant 74 version.
Kaba is also a fair bit bigger 20lbs or so… that’s a hard match up for Foreman, Kaba can tank some shots from the 280lbs Zhang whilst on the attackers side of the equation so he’ll be there, I think he could smother Foreman all over like a fire blanket lol just grind a young George down to the body…I’ve never seen Foreman fight well inside at all? Ali who wasn’t a fan of it clowned him there - A guy George’s size fighting the way he did isn’t really the guy to bet on in a modern scenario he was the “Big” guy in his day and in style but now he’s tiny, his style would look way different now and he’d likely start at 200lbs - take a look at the currently 260lbs Parker in with Bakole playing counter puncher, heavyweight is a monster truck arena now… I will add that I’d want to see more of Kaba I learnt my lesson with Bakole lol so officially no hard stance.
Wasn’t Chuvalo’s structural damage? That’s not really a credit for a conventional KO he hit him enough to do that damage… If you wanted to bank on him damaging Kaba’s eye socket maybe? Frazier is a natural 200lber and wasn’t slept, I also doubt either of those guys eat a shot from Zhang.
