Unless Bakloe has secured a mutli fight deal then this couldn't have gone worse.

It was an embarrassment for him and for boxing really.

Thread title makes me laugh. Unfairly blamed, all the blame is on Billy and Bakole. It was embarrassing. The heavyweight bogeyman turning up fat and getting sparked by Iron Joseph Parker in the second.

Someone on the main forum said that Bakole signed a 3 fight deal with the Saudi's. I think the Ajagba fight in May is still on, too.

With these Saudi cards happening a guy like Bakole is always a phone call away from a life changing offer, I don’t know why guys don’t just stay in the gym, nothing mental just a bit of cardio every day, and not overindulge. When you retire you can lie by a pool killing yourself with food if you want.

A professional boxer allowing himself to get in that shape when he’s on the brink of fighting a world title eliminator is an absolute embarrassment.

Bakole should never have been that fat - noted he wasn't in camp but 315 pounds is sumo wrestler weight. In saying that - he cashed in on biggest career payday. Fight was over in 2 rounds so would not have taken a whole lot out of him. We have to remember the man was literally jet lagged- he arrived in Riyadh 20 hours before his scheduled bout time. He flew over 3000 miles. For godsake have some common sense. He also has secured another big payday in bis next fight. His stick wasn't affected in anyway at all- this fight probably made him marketable

The casuals don't care about all that. What they saw was a big fat guy do a jiggle dance and get pulled out

Jet lag ain’t that bad it was a ten hour flight in first class with a lie flat bed! I fly long haul every week. Sydney to London 15 hours in economy would kill you, bakole certainly didn’t do that. I flew LA to Korea in business a few months back, slept like a baby and wasn’t jet lagged at all.

Ultimately he shouldn’t have been on the card and let the paying viewers suffer because of it.

People blaming jet lagged but the time difference is only 3 hours, 2 from congo.

Granted 3 flights will make you tired but it won't make you jet lagged and certainly didn't make him a 315lbs mess who doesn't look like he's seen a gym in months.
