I can't cut him too much slack. To lose in that ignominious manner damages Bakole greatly. I think he's an utter fraud,

Hard to judge his performance. He literally got of the couch on 48 hours notice.

Billy Graham saying Bakoles had zero sparring since August, crazy decision to take this fight.

He needs to make a statement against Ajagba to get taken seriously again. If Ajagba chins him, he's done sadly.

Bro this was a stupid fight to take in these circumstances. I have accepted a fight at short notice for a fighter of mine before but he was a gym rat in shape and we only had to drive from London to Wales to knockout the champion. Bakole got in from a long fight in the early hours of the morning. Frankly the fight did not prove anything to me other than what you should not do. If Parker had not stopped him in these circumstances questions should be asked.

ehh..I'm willing to let this slide on some level with all things considered. the fight with ajagba will be more telling with where he is with a full camp.

It can, but it's funny how it doesn't really happen to some boxers who can take a shot, since Hunter stopped Bakole I had suspicions about his ability to take a shot, last night enforces that.

He flew in the same day of the fight with no training camp and was 3 stone overweight.

Hopefully Bakole has learned a lesson about not letting yourself go to shyte between fights. He has to watch his weight and perform
some level of training between fights. Seems like he hasn't been doing anything but interviews and buffets since his last fight.

The good news is he didn't taking a prolonged beating. He better get his act together or Ajaba will jab his head off, then he will be toast.

Ultimately it was dumb to take it at such late notice and with him being that overweight albeit he looked in just as bad shape and was injured when they took the Takam fight and he destroyed Takam in fearsome fashion so that probably lulled them into a false sense of security for this fight.

And another factor many were overlooking and what increased the risk is J-Park, in addition to having a full camp training for a world title fight, had the element of surprise on him because none of us outside his camp/gym knew what this new improved bigger, stronger, heavier and more powerful version of J-Park would look like or how much harder he would be hitting. He's an in shape 267lbs and had added a lot of muscle.

Financially it was probably worth it for him and especially given how Turki has promised him more big fights in the future, but he looked knackered after the long flight and arriving so late which was like maybe roughly 18 hours before he stepped foot in the ring which is crazy.

And the idiot reporters should have just let him go straight to bed and recuperate instead of securing their exclusive interview with him.

He looked in dreadful shape. He made Fury look shredded.

I'm giving him a pass because he clearly hadn't trained.

The fight doesn't change my opinion of Bakole in any way; he was clearly out of shape, took the fights at a moments notice, and was probably jetlagged having arrived in Saudi at 2am after a long flight. He did the right thing in trying to take the fight to Parker early doors, because his conditioning clearly would not have held up much longer. Credit to Parker on producing a peach of a KO, however Bakole is far from finished or exposed or whatever, and deserves further chances at the top of the HW division.
