Do we have some sort of a cut off time after which we no longer "count" the new replies?
Because this thread could easily stay active to get enough replies for the first place.

Ehh, doubtful that would happen organically. It's a good 400+ replies off from Usyk vs. Fury, and most RBR threads slowly die off in terms of activity within a few days once the buzz wears off. If people spammed it to fluff up the numbers it would be pretty obvious and mods would probably start pruning some of the unnecessary bumping posts.

I can't see this gaining another ~440 meaningful replies in the course of tonight and tomorrow or even stretching it to midweek tbh. It's gotten just about that many in the last almost 24 hours since the final bell, which is the most fertile period for additional chatter.

Madrimov ran, he seems very timid in big fights, his fight v Bud wa a stinker, he`s a boring fighter.

Beterbiev is a big version of Canelo.

I'm not sure whether someone mentioned it. Beterbiev was the longest reigning champion in boxing and the last champion from the 2010's. His reign was the third longest in the history of the light heavyweight division. First being Archie Moore and second Michalczewski. Crawford vacated his titles. While Bivol, Beterbiev and Freshmart all met their demise in the desert.

It is kinda of sad to see that there aren't any more champions from the 2010's. Alas things come and go.

:risas3: The funniest thing is beforehand Shakur said he was the best fighter on the card, that he was the fighter people were tuning into see, and that he was going to steal the show

I went back and rescred the 5th the night of, which I'd initially given to Madrimov, but changed my mind, flipping it to Ortiz. So I decided to go ahead and give the entire fight a rewatch today, thinking other rounds might flip. Came close to flipping the 8th and 11th, many of Marimov's shots were blocked. But nope, they all stayed the same. Only I shifted it from a draw to 115-113 Ortiz.

    Round 1 Madrimov 10-9
    Round 2 Madrimov 10-9
    Round 3 Madrimov 10-9
    Round 4 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 5 Ortiz 10-9, close
    Round 6 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 7 Ortiz 10-9, close
    Round 8 Madrimov 10-9, close
    Round 9 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 10 Ortiz 10-9
    Round 11 Madrimov 10-9, close
    Round 12 Ortiz 10-9

    115-113 Ortiz

In general, I think Madrimov fight's can be challenging to score on first watch. He has unusual motion with both his hands and feet, often intentionally hits his opponents gloves and can really pop someone when he puts his mind to it. All in all, he can fool you into thinking more (or less) is happening than what might actually be happening. That being said, I originally scored all 12 rounds the same as you and had a 114-114 draw. I might need to go watch the fight again as well.

Agree with every bit of this, also to add to this, since both Madrimov and Ortiz for a change, had airtight defense on Saturday. Delineating what is and isn't landing, while I was pretty spot on the first time around, in a few rounds which were near impossible to split, they need to be watched under a microscope.
