Yep. Bellew talks a lot of crap but he was spot on with what he said about scratches to the eye. They never recover fully and it is hideously painful. When it happened to me I said I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Am sure CEJ could have nailed the point in a better way. He was in top form during that presser, exactly the right blend of arrogance and humour. He let himself down with that.

Unfortunately it will appeal to the Misfits generation.

I was all set for one of Eddies little bull**** inspirational stories but Eubank shut it down straight away. Hearn was fuming

 

I remember going to Joshua v Martin, April 2016 when Benn made his debut. Nearly 9 years on and he still hasn’t won a British title, let alone fought for one. Unbelievable.

CEJ has got them all on strings. Benn said "5 Rounds" which a week or so back became "3 Rounds" to last night tweeting "2 Rounds". If Benn comes out all emotional charging forward, he'll walk straight into a CEJ counter which is what CEJ wants.

Completely agree, it should be the discussion. By doing what he did though, Eubank made this the discussion point.

As I said in my post, he nailed the rest of the presser but totally ballsed things up by doing that.

Benn is a drugs cheat, way more dangerous then an egg to the face. I thought it was perfect. Made me like Chris even more, he's putting pressure on Conor and Eggy Hearn and they can't stand it!!

What I think should have gone viral was Benn’s non-answer about being cleared.

Eubank spoke too well at the press conference to be overshadowed by this stunt. In my view he misjudged things.

 

Same reason he was still up for fighting after the failed drug test. He wants this fight cos of the money - I actually don't think he cares if he wins or loses. Unless there is a call for a rematch I think Eubank Jr may call it a day after this fight...
