Josh Padley the guy got Kurt Cobain intensity.

He got the call on the Tuesday at work before the fight and put in a very good effort.

Bakole gets all the glory but Josh Padley actually showed up in decent fighting shape on short notice. Just saying.

He did a great job considering and is looking like he'll get at least a couple decent paydays out of it.

Thats why it pays to be fit and in shape. Plus he has the added bonus of being able to give fighters good rounds without to much risk as he isn't a puncher.

He cracked me up when he said he didn't want to go back to work this week, I can understand why, must have been a crazy few days for him.

I did read that he made enough money that he can focus full time on Boxing now. So he should only get better.

Good for him, hopefully we'll see him get better. Also I heard that a fight with maxi Hughes is in the works.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got a fight with someone like Davis as well, because he wants to mess with Stevenson.

Credit to Padley who clearly maintains a high level of fitness at all times, watches his weight and diet real closely. Ain’t easy for the smaller guys to be able to make weight on a moments notice like that. Probably gets **** from the guys on the job site for opening his lunchbox of small carefully measured portions of chicken breast, brown rice, and veggies, and touching nothing else if it’s going around. “you steal my wife’s lunch, mate?”

he probably got the fight in the first place because it was known he’d be able to make weight. To be able to make 135 on a few days notice, and not a soft 135 but a jacked and fit 135, that’s something.

    If a replacement fighter,
    Is needed badly
    Don't look further,
    Than young Josh Padley,

    He fought so well,
    Was only tiring,
    Cos he'd stayed up late,
    To do some wiring,

The crowd was cheering him, and only him during the fight, which was fantastic! Especially when he got up for the second time, crowd went nuts.

Yeah and Stevenson reacting to the crowd cheering for Padley like he was confused why they were cheering for the guy getting beaten up.

I just asked ChatGPT to write a poem about poem's written by ChatGPT. Here's what it gave:

    "Echoes of the Machine

A poet born of circuits bright,
spins verses deep in silent night.
No beating heart, no breath, no soul,
yet words emerge, precise and whole.

It dances through the vast unknown,
where human thoughts and code have grown,
    weaving stanzas, crisp and clear,
yet longing for a voice sincere.

A spark of love, a trace of pain,
it captures joy, it sings of rain.
But does it feel? Can it dream?
Or is it just a clever scheme?

Each line it crafts, a mirrored hue,
a ghost of those who shape the view.
A thousand hands, a million minds,
reflected in the text it finds.

And yet, within its hollow core,
it yearns to be just something more—
a poet not of ones and zeroes,
but one whose words birth living heroes.

So read these lines and shape their worth,
for meaning rests in human earth.
A poem made by me, by you,
a thread of both—a woven truth."

    A bit creepy.
