I think Inoue is the better boxer, but that is one hell of a jump in weight. I'd like to see how he does at 126 before I made any sort of solid prediction.

That said, I feel like after tonight the notion of an Inoue victory will be met with a lot less skepticisim.

I'm not a fan of Gervonta but his style IMO is tougher for Inoue than for Roach considering Inoue is a fair bit lighter than Gervonta.

Gervonta does hit hard and can counter Inoue, but if a weak contender can outbox Gervonta and I'm not just talking about Roach - then I can see Inoue finding a way on points. I think it would be a very good stylistic match-up.

Right now I would pick Luis Nery to make Gervonta quit again.

Davis would win by stoppage. That does not at all reflect who the better fighter is, we all know it's Inoue, but I dont think Inoue could compete as high as lightweight. You all seem to be underestimating the significance of a jump from 122 to 135, and by a man who's peak years came at 115-118.

Inoue would show Tank there are levels to this game.

Inoue. Tank has trouble with literal sparring partners.

Inoue in terms of P4P skill and ability is a level or two above Tank but Tank is two whole weight divisions above Inoue, that might be enough to level the playing field.

Right now I wouldn't want to put money on either winning. But if Inoue continues to dominate when he moves up to 126 and has success at 130 then I'd probably favour Inoue, but we have to see how Inoue does at these weights above his current natural weight.

I’ve always thought the people calling this a mismatch were blowing it out of proportion. I still pick Tank but it’s at least competitive. Inoue frustrating and outboxing Tank isn’t inconceivable once he acclimates at 126/130 size

I'll wager Inoue hits harder than Lamonty Roach and he is obviously much faster, more explosive, and just way better all round too. The only difference is Lamonty has a gigantic melon which enabled him to withstand Twink's blows. But if Twink was petrified of his power how much more so would he be of Inoue's who has laser accuracy, is faster than not only Lamonty but Twink too, and is a P4P top 3 elite

    That’s too much weight.
