I don’t know if you remember an old fight between Dominick Guinn vs Duncan Dokiware, Dokiware got a big cut over his eye from Guinn. Dokiware’s cut didn’t stop bleeding and he didn’t want to stop so every time he was close to the ref he wiped his eye on the ref’s shirt. lol If Tank was as gangster as he says he is that’s what he should have done instead of taking a knee and run to his corner
I think he already dropped the Muslim act after realizing the Turk isn’t interested in giving him easy set ups.
There is simply a rulebook (Unified Boxing Rules), the referee can call a 'break' to assess a boxer's problem (like when a mouthpiece falls off or a doctor is called to examine a boxer's wound). If a boxer puts his knee on the ground it is a knockdown and the boxer cannot turn his back on the opponent and go to the corner to have a towel passed to his face or something. These are not opinions, these are the rules, which also provide for official warnings and disqualifications.
Exactly..... At the end of the day, one of three things should have happened. -Standing 8 count -A point taken away -He's disqualified for the corner interfering
No rematch. Tank already said no to it. PBC normally doesn't give rematches to opponents unless their fighter came up short. Like Charlo vs Harrison and Castano, or Wilder vs Fury, or what they attempted to do with Spence vs Crawford. You notice Isaac Pitbull Cruz was in the audience and he gave Tank a tough fight as well. He's still waiting on his rematch.
Jake Paul would and could never get down to 142lbs for a fight.. He would have to be wheel chaired onto the stage for weigh ins....lol
I think he should go back to 130 and clean up the division. This would make him an obvious A-Side in negotiation. Shakur and Keyshawn would be too big of a task to take on at this point.
Anytime your corner interferes without the direction of the referee, that is a disqualification. I don't know how anyone else is arguing he should have continued. Yea, it would be horrible to end a title fight in that manner, but Tank isn't a newbie. He should understand the rules, as well as his corner. Funny thing is, it kind of looked planned because his coach had a towel ready the moment he looked over at him and ran to him. The knee and wiping of the face all occurred within the 8 count.... how was it not discussed before hand yet they were so prepared for it to occur. Hell, the press conference, coach already had a PR answer to explain what happened.
It's an awful look that he asked for this fight. Tank doesn't care what it looks like, because his fans don't care. Lamont said in the press conference that Tank's camp REACH OUT TO HIM to make this fight. He didn't come looking for it. Not one person in the media followed up with a why Lamont instead of Shakur or Keyshawn or Devin etc... Those guys were calling for this fight and they get a notion or response that they ain't did nothing to deserve it.....but he reached out to Lamont Roach?.......Gotta make it make sense.
Ironically, a mouthpiece came out in the 12th round......didn't see anyone take a knee and then run and look for it. Referee stepped on the mouthpiece a couple times.
Tank taking time off To get his head right. Go listen to his interviews. Guy isn't dealing in reality. Very reminiscent of a looney democrat.
What we witnessed yesterday can only be explained by pure corruption. Only that can explain it, that's how bad it was. I would like a rematch, but I know it wont happen.
Yep when someone turns their back it is 100% a TKO then getting his faced wiped with the towel mid round that is a DQ the whole thing was rigged for Tank. There is even a clip in the 12th round I couldn't find it but Tank actually says to Roach during the 12th round "you know there not gonna give it to you"
