2 judges scored round 9 for Davis, the round where he got knocked down

Judges can score any round they want 10-8, knockdowns or not, but it has to be a massacre of a round from bell to bell. (just like to score an even 10-10, it has to be insanely close - the overwhelming majority of rounds are supposed to be marked 10-9 for one person with exceptions being exceedingly rare)

What they can't do is override and "count" a knockdown that was explicitly unruled by the official in the ring.

 

Willis is the one who really **** the bed here. Even if Tank's hair grease excuse was true, taking a knee counts as a knockdown and you don't get to run to your corner and stick your head out of the ring wtf! I can't blame the judges for not scoring it 10-8 without an official knockdown.

 

No Tank didn't get up and win, he got up and drew.

Had the round been scored the same way it was scored in the Floyd fight he'd have lost.

I had Tank winning the fight 115-113 in a very high level boxing match. Roach is really good. Much Better technically than some of the punks people have been lauding.

Yes. I believe so. If I'm not mistaken, Pacquiao got one vs De La Hoya round 7. I believe Hopkins vs Kovalev round 12.

Judges can also score a round 10-10 when they feel the fight was dead even for both fighters. Claressa Shields and Danielle Perkins had a 10-10 round.

 

He did not score a knockdown so Roach did not win and lost that round.

So had the referee correctly awarded the knockdown, just like was awarded when Floyd took the knee, you'd have Roach winning on your card.

 

I don’t deal in what ifs rather I judge based on what is happening. Why would I score a knockdown if the referee does not call a knockdown. You clearly don’t know how fights are scored.
