For Joyce now, anyone is a good opponent, Franklin is a mediocre fighter but he will have his moments against Joyce...
Martin is a good fight. Cagey, but a non-threat punch-wise. Will make most opponents Joyce gets in the ring next much easier to land clean on.
Hrgovic would be a good opponent, but due to his inactivity, it is risky for him to go into a fight against Joyce, who despite being a past prime, could threaten him...
To be fair Joyce is well past-it and he struggles against fast hands. Franklin looked alright against Whyte. You could be right, probably just me being bummed out that a good domestic fight has fallen through.
Franklin, in his most recent outing, looked superior to Whyte in his last fight - and they basically fought on even terms when they faced each other - so this is hardly a downgrade. Franklins fast hands and combos could actually be a tougher night for Joyce than Whyte.
Pity, was looking forward to this one. With Whyte you never can tell. Another positive test? Recurrence of that shoulder 'injury.' Promoter beware.
Agree with everything other than the argument he'd have beaten anyone in the current top 15 with ease in his prime.
