    This is false.

Benitez's peak was when he destroyed Hope and schooled Duran at 154. He was in his early 20s.

you are correct. But it would be fair to say that at least some of his best performances came as a teen. I am looking at "peak" as a fairly prolonged period of say 3-5 years. So some of that fell into his teen years.

Its hard to reach the title level in ones teens never mind to peak there. Just so narrow a window.

Denver Ed Martins someone who fell off a cliff at 21,22. When I think of HOF caliber boxers hes the one that fell off the quickest. He won the "colored title" at 20 and really put together most of his feats in a single calendar year.

Ketchel and John Henry Lewis life and/or careers ended at 24. Neither were champ as teens.

Hector Carrasquilla. Twice fought for a world title as a teen, including one fight in which he knocked down an ex-champion four times before eventually losing. His career was very short and he had only one or two fights after turning 20.

Wasn't there a British fighter that turned pro at 10 and retired at 17. Can't think of his name.

Yes, I couldn’t think of his name either, but I had indeed heard about that, just searched it, he’s called Nipper Pat Daly, turned pro at 9 and retired at 17, he’s by far the youngest pro I know, I don’t suspect there are many more like that.
