To be fair, the Cotto fight took place about a year after the Diaz fight. I would say that he was in his prime then too, but that Diaz fight was Manny at this optimal weight(size for size) and Diaz had nothing to offer him. Even Oscar had more success than Diaz.

    Buster Douglas vs Mike Tyson
Tyson wasn't at his peak but that doesn't take away from the fact that, with the loss of his mom, Douglas was a man possessed.
Douglas wanted to win that day more than almost any other heavyweight in my opinion.

Douglas had won 12 of 13 with his only loss in 5 years being a close one to Tucker. This included wins over Greg Page, Berbick and McCall none of which were close.

To the contrary Tyson v Douglas is the only time Tyson had any sort of comeback at the elite level. Tyson was down 4-1 and got the lead back briefly after the 8th. If Douglas is counted out in the 8th this turns from a mark of shame to possibly Tysons most important win as he doesn't have another like it.

This idea "Tokyo" Douglas was a one fight pony or showed up at an unusually high level for Tyson just isn't true.

I think Mayweathers best performance was against Gatti and Leonard vs Price and Crawford vs Spence

Taylor Vs postol was a banger!

I really wish Turki would just put money into cokey Kale's WSSB, but we all know Kale would be dead before the tourney's first rd...

I wasn't trying to say that Douglas was a one trick pony. Just that on that night he was at his best.
