100%. Though I wouldn't mind a slight shuffle around if Fury reenters the mix.

    Maybe Bakole v Fury?

I have little interest in Fury fighting again mate. I know it's pessimistic, but I'm glad he's retired and wish Aj would join him. I'm annoyed they never fought in their prime

Parker deserves to be fighting Usyk next and Dubios can fight the winner. Chump gets sick, misses the fight and automatically gets another shot at Usyk? Nah, Parker all they way for me on this one.

Parker won so easily it's difficult to see a different result - it might be on points, it might be a much later KO, but Parker wins that fight at least 9 times out of 10.

Bakole doesn't really deserve it - short notice and poor condition means that he should be able to do a bit better, but Parker's one of the top guys in the division and you have to earn those fights... Bakole's barely proven he's even beyond gatekeeper level, if he has at all - beating a prospect and an ancient gatekeeper isn't that impressive a resume.

Bakole needs to earn a rematch by proving he actually has a serious place towards the top of the division.

How dare you disrespect 2016 Olympic Gold medalist Tony Yoka, who despite being knocked down twice, only lost to Bakole via very close MD... y'know, if you're watching it as a Frenchman and throwing any notion of hiding bias out the window

Jokes aside and on topic, I could see a rematch playing out differently. I do think jetlag and the lack of a proper camp potentially played a part in how this fight played out. But whether "playing out differently" translates to "same result but later or via points" or "Bakole beating Parker this time", I couldn't say for sure.

I will say that this is one of the few times I actually wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, because I'm curious about just how much those factors affected things. But I don't think it should happen anytime soon, with Parker either looking to fight for most of the marbles next or just after his next fight at the latest. Maybe in another year or two, but no sooner than that.

If Bakole didn't train, people are crazy to say that it didn't make a difference. What's the point of training then? To dismiss the short notice isn't logical.

This rematch won't happen. Parker has bigger fish to fry with more money at stake.

Bakole vs Wilder. Now that's something I'd like to see.

Agreed. Why would Parker give him a rematch? It's not Parker's fault he showed up looking like an elephant seal . Let him earn a shot with 2 or 3 wins over solid caliber fighters. Which I doubt he could do...
