Glad to see the vast majority of people on Twitter using the Score Box App, have it for Olascuaga either 116-111 or 115-112, and the ones who have it for Kyoguchi it's only by a round, 114-113.

Quick thoughts before the main event. I had Iwata winning 115-113. Second time for Iwata to be hard done against a Puerto Rican for the belt. The 118-110 and 117-111 were bizarre to say the least. End goal is probably to match Santiago against Collazo for the belt in the not so distant future.

I had Olascuaga winning 115-112. Good, competitive fight. The 11th round KD was a flash knockdown, but it was the right call to make. Kyoguchi was his first real test as a champion, and he did a solid job. Showed different aspects of his arsenal. I even felt like in moments that Anthony took it easy against Hiroto in the last portion of the fight.

As for the main event. Akui is very tough. Kenshiro in my opinion should start out fast, bombs away to hurt Seigo as quickly as possible. Otherwise Akui will take Teraji in deep waters, and possibly grind him until Kenshiro can't take it anymore. Teraji is incredibly tough and resilient, but Akui is a bigger guy than the likes of Yabuki and Canizales.

Also why is the venue so small. I figured such a card would be in an arena with a bigger capacity.

I've been back and forth on this match all week. Yeah, I heard the sparring stories, but who knows what stage they were in the lead up to their respective fights, and at this point, Akui is a vastly improved fighter from what he probably was then. So if Akui can get into his rhythm, there's a possibility to stops Wonder Boy late. Also, having an emotional involvement like an upcoming kid, can be hell of a motivating factor.

Akui is tough but I think Teraji will be too dynamic for him.

    Let's go Kenny Boy.

    Round 1 Akui 10-9

Akui outworked him by quite a wide margin.
