Bam Rodriguez vs Kenshiro Teraji

I would like to see it but I also don't see it happening timing wise. Bam would probably want a stay busy fight in May and an unification at fall then move up, or perhaps just go up soon if he doesn't get an unification.

Teraji has a reason he wants to fight Bam but not much merit for Bam.

 

Who would you like for Bam though?

 

I actually want to see Tanaka vs Teraji in terms of fight style.

 

Bam lost out on Martinez or Cafu unification and the IBF vacant belt isn't even determined yet. At this point him and Nakatani who got dumped by Nishida should just fight this summer then Bam takes out 118 while Nakatani goes to 122 in prep for Inoue.

 

Bam is a stylistic nightmare for Teraji, not to mention the size difference.

 

Part of me would rather see Teraji unify 112 and call it a career but I guess he just wants to attempt the third division at this point.

He doesn't have to worry about undefeated so just wants to go for broke it seems.

 

Part of that might also come from the fact that there's a good chance that both the other belts at 112 will be held by guys he's already beaten, so he might not have an interest in pursuing Undisputed for that reason. If there was ever an argument to be made for someone being de facto Undisputed, I think that would be it.

 

Which makes me get mixed feelings regarding the Ayala-Yabuki match. I'll definitely be rooting for Yabuki but also won't mind seeing Ayala win, leaving the chance for Teraji x Ayala unification. If he gets three belts, I think he'll be more willing to go for the final one even if it is someone he already beat.

 

I think Kenshiro will never go in Super Flyweight so this fight will never happen

 

I will be glad to see Kenshiro Teraji vs Kosei Tanaka, this will be very very close... it's a shame that this don't happen in Light Flyweight.

 

I want Canizales to actually move up and settle the two series fights with Teraji at flyweight actually,but because Teraji seems to be more likely to move up or retire a good career,it might've not happen.

 

Rodriguez would be the favorite. However it would still be a competitive fight. One advantage Teraji has is his incredible durability. Rodriguez got his jaw broken against Cristian Gonzalez, buzzed few times by Edwards and was dropped by Estrada. If Kenshiro can get him in a slug fest, I'm not sure Bam would survive it.
