I felt like his power was about the same in 76.

Foreman really didn’t want that Tua match. I agree.

So generally speaking I can assume you think Canelo would do very well against most the heavyweights before Foreman.

He’d for sure at least be a contender. I still don’t know what Peralta had that Canelo didn’t, and he made Foreman look bad.

Frazier was 5'11", 73" reach and fought at 205 lbs in his peak years. Canelo is 5'7", 70" reach and at most 180 lbs hydrated. OP must have been high when posting this.

Peralta was a 6’ HW, with a long reach.

Canelo is a 5’7 counterpuncher, with a tiny reach, and who’s only had 2 fights above SMW.

    I mean, they’re practically twins aren’t they.

I don’t know how and why we have all of these weight classes.

It’s always seemed quite odd to me.

He was an out of shape super middle with limited power who lost by one point on a card to Foreman.

Foreman didn`t fight Qawi while he was in his prime and it`s suicide coming forward v George at Frazier`s size Tyson was heavier and more powerful than Joe and I`d he would be the only fighter 5`10 or under that could stand a chance v Foreman, Frazier would have destroyed Canelo because of his work-rate, Canelo is a low out-put fighter he doesn`t have a jab as good as Foreman`s was, Canelo has nothing like the power that Lyle had.

He also didn`t plod forwards, which wa suicide v Foreman if you were short armed like Frazier.

Better Frazier hit by bigger fighters than Canelo.

One of 'best' hypothetical match ups here ever.

There really ought to be a sub forum for this type of trash.

Ok, I'll bite. Foreman lands his first solid shot in the first, leaving Alvarez out cold on the canvas for a LONG time!!
