Berlanga missed weight, but he wasn't the one out of shape.

Check out this Gonzalez-Ortiz guy, who actually made weight. A muffin top on a non-heavyweight fighter.

Gonzalez is the prospect who didnt make weight about a decade ago for a HBO fight va Dzinziruk on a Golovkin co main.
He wasnt serious about the sport as a youngster and quit the game for almost 10 years.
Obviously he was fat in retirement and lost a lot of weight.

How do you go from Canelo to a guy you find at a bar? Berlanga is a joke.

    Berlanga is so comically unlikeable.

Berlanga and Hearn were in a stalemate about his contract and this is the result.
Here is an article about it:

But the situation with Matchroom, it was giving me contracts we didn't like. They wanted to do an extension. We didn't want to do that, you know. I wanted to be a free agent after my next fight, and we couldn't agree on terms. And we wound up choosing this. I wound up picking this on my own“.

I think he made $10 million over a number of fights. He was probably getting over a million for a couple fights and then go $1-3 million with PPV upside against Canelo.
