Please view again. The referee has removed Bethea's mouthpiece and is obviously indictating
to Bethea's trainers the damage inflicted by Liston.
By the way,did you really expect to actually see Bethea's detached teeth ? Please say no !

You said he knocked out seven teeth with one punch. Prove it. I can watch the video. I see no evidence of one punch knocking out seven teeth.

On the contrary, Bethea and his corner were angry the fight was stopped.

People told lots of stories back then because they weren't used to television catching their lies.

Dundee told everyone for years that he tore Ali's glove against Cooper and there was a long time delay to have the glove replaced.

Except, the glove was never replaced and there was no time delay. Dundee lied. And people repeated the lie.

Liston didn't knock out seven of Bethea's teeth with one punch. Bethea is standing there with the mouthpiece out, and his corner is there, and they're all arguing with the ref for stopping it.

And which one punch knocked out all these teeth?

Maybe some of you guys shouldn't rely on AI write-ups and hype so much.

    Just watch the fights.

the great chin, the great head movement ? Thanks for raising the subject mate.

    Lol Wow. Hahaha!

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit there killer. I was using “The chin argument” towards liston because you are using lamon BREWSTER as an argument for why liston beats Wladimir. Not going to sit here and explain why that’s absolutely ******ed :) Lol The whole “Styles make fights” thing… have you heard of why…

You know what… Do you there buddy :thumbsup: sonny would beat Wladimir Klitschko because lamon brewster was able to take arguably one of the hardest bombardments at HW in four rounds that the sport has seen. So… liston would be able to do the same. That’s why you threw brewsters name in there  lol :lol:

“B.. bu.. but BREWSTER AND SANDERS DOE!!”

    lol

Well if you want to get technical the guy who was intimated by the lumbering Tyson Fury would definitely
be intimated by the lightning fast Ali.
'' Barely out of his teens '' ? Oh come on, Ali was young but 22 years old is not '' barely out of his teens '' !

Noooo......Liston was obviously naturally bigger, much bigger, than Bryd. Are you seriously trying
to make out, while looking at their respective physiques, that Bryd matched Liston for physical
    strength and punching power ?

Ah yes,the Marty Marshall fight.Which was only Liston's 8th professional fight.
As for the respective weights,in Liston's days heavies were boiled to the bone to be as
light as possible.Looking at the respective physiques of Liston and Brewster it's obvious
that Liston could comfortably add those few extra pounds to match Brewster's weight.

Stories’ was just shorthand for single fight moments, like Bethea’s teeth or Wepner’s face. They’re real, not made-up, but they’re still just specific examples, not proof Liston hit harder than Wlad overall.

Liston would be a cruiserweight in the modern era.

And Johnny Nelson would put him to sleep.

No please, let me make this easy for you.You made a disparaging remark about Liston's chin i.e not
able to take Wlad's punches. On the other hand Liston was able to absorb Cleveland Williams's punches.
Cleveland Williams was at the very least on Wlad's level as a puncher.
As for referencing Wlad's chin you made the rather bold statement that Liston's punches wouldn't have
the same impact on Wlad as the punches of Sanders.Well.....yes they would.
Wlad is indeed an all-time great heavyweight but he is chinny.Deal with it.
    Mind how you go.

Just because Nelson managed to make it the distance with Sanders, unlike Wlad doesn't mean he beats Liston.

No.If Lamon Brewster was fighting during Liston's era it is highly likely that he would have
    been a few pounds lighter.

I said he would put him to sleep.

Much as he did me on several occasions.

    Of course,Johnny Nelson the renowed,ultra-aggresive knock-out artist.And yes I know you
are ( hopefully ) saying this tongue-in cheek but please, keep it to yourself.
Talking of cruiserweights, what about that guy Usyk ? Just thought I'd mention him.
