Bivol is now the most accomplished Light Heavyweight of the last 30 years or so, to me. He overtook Roy and Tarver with his win over Beterbiev.
It's reasonably close though - so if someone feels that Beterbiev was past his best due to his age, or overrated for some other reason - He can probably make an argument for Roy.

There’s almost nothing separating him from Beterbiev.

I think Bivols accomplishments at LHW outshine Jones' at this point but obviously Jones had a better overall career because of his success in multiple weight classes

Yes. I’m not sure if a razor close win over a forty year old Beterbiev in a rematch is enough to say Bivol definitely has a better resume than Beterbiev.

It's still Jones, his status at LHW gets underappreciated.

Hill is a better win than a 40 year old Beterbiev. And I prefer the group of Griffin, Gonzalez, Tarver, Woods and Harding over a slipping Pascal, Canelo (at LHW spefically, to be clear), Arthur, Smith jr and Ramirez.

To me, Bivol's win in the rematch was certainly clearer than Beterbiev's win in the first fight - but yes, if You take the two fights They had between one another away, it's pretty close, so I guess it depends on how one sees their rivalry.

I had Beterbiev for the first one and a draw for the second.

Outside of that, it’s Canelo, Joe Smith (contender), Zurdo, and Pascal (old) compared to Gvoz, Joe Smith (champion), Yarde, and Callum Smith.

Bivol needs to win the trilogy or beat Benavidez to separate himself.

Bivol at least fought his greatest contemporary in Beterbiev which Jones didn't do with Dariusz. That alone puts him ahead of Jones outwith the Canelo or Zurdo wins. The contenders that each man beat are comparable I suppose but Jones never fought his biggest rival at the weight and was never lineal, which should reasonably detract from his historical standing.

Jones never beat the champion in his division, but his resume may be a bit deeper. 50/50. Let's see how Bivol's career progresses after claiming the throne.

This is a hard one as Jones had some pretty good wins at Light Heavy.
I would say Bivol because his body of work is very soild and he is coming off his best win at lightheavy.

I am a huge fan of Dariusz but lets be honest Roy would have beaten the hell out of him and stopped him.
Dariusz didn't want to fight Roy because he was making good money at where he was at - Germany.
At the time the United States was where most people went when seeking large paydays and Dariusz never once ventured there.

Tarver was better than Darusz and Roy at least won the first fight.

Roy would just be too fast for Darusz and while I liked Darusz and think he is underrated I think Roys style is all wrong for him.
Tarver might be too much for him as well because Tarver could really crack and if he had to box as well.
Loved Darusz jab though as it at times reminds me of an Old Quartey type jab.
