Without a lot of luck Old Foreman has his skull turned into a drinking glass by Tyson, Tyson would melt any version of GF that’s IMO one of the worse match ups you could give GF.
Either that, or Tucker, Tyson, and Foreman inaugurate a new version of the boxing fans' stylistic triad: Boxer/Puncher/Grandpa.
The amount of head shots he took from the 208 lbs Holyfield would have had him on the canvas had that been Razor Ruddock era Tyson there instead.
I'm wondering if either of those two hit as fast as Holy at the time. Seems to me Foreman made the big hit and then mostly faded to palookaville. That said, I have respect for his defeat of Briggs...probably the only semi-impressive thing he did after winning the title again. And even then, he lost lol.
Crafty as a marketing team; relentless as a Boomer trying to convince himself he's still young. His fists hit with the power of 90s capitalism. Say hello to Grandpa Inevitability.
I mean you have to be a tough SOB to go the distance with Prime Mike Tyson and an up-and-coming but already champ Lennox Lewis, so if Foreman say that I wouldn't be surprised
Funny how he didn't fight Tucker when no Moorer fight got made. I don't think he wanted a Moorer fight either.
He was stripped by the WBA and Tucker was already scheduled to fight Seldon, so he couldn't fight him. Wouldn't be surprised if wanting to fight Moorer was just a bluff tho.
The kicker is his 2 title opponents were 0-7 and 11-34 which is awful by any regional title standards. The records of Grimsleys opponents(and their opponents) more generally will make your eyes bleed. Its really that bad. I think Savarese was a fine title opponent btw theres a long history of giving the North American champ a title shot. "FECARBOX" is the WBCs Central American affiliate seperate from South America. Grimsley was their first champion.
