Give Sly Stallone a call; might be a role for him in the next Expendables.

But then, when neither of those have ever wanted it... If they still don't?

What other cash out is there? Dubois rematch?

    Been a pro 13 years
    had some peaks and valleys
    on a slide, decline
almost a .500 record for the past 5/6 years
    Probably time for retirement.

For me Joshua should retire, against Dubois he suffered a hard lesson, one that leaves a mark. he was in difficulty on every important attack of the opponent, he was knocked down several times and finally he suffered a heavy KO, a heavier defeat for AJ could not have been.

Having said that I say that the only match that would make sense (money sense) for him is the one with Tyson Fury, which I am convinced will be announced in the spring. And I add that in my opinion if Fury prepares seriously Joshua will suffer another heavy defeat.

If they can’t get fury or wilder or Dubois rematch then he should retire.

when whyte pulled out the other day I was worried we’d get aj vs whyte 2

They should do anything they need to to get him in with either

    Fury, Parker, or Wilder.

I still think he matches up decently with Fury and Parker, and the Wilder fighy would still be a big fight.

I think relative to the rest of the division these are decent risk to reward fights

This 'injury' seems to be a convenient justification for not rematching Dubois and allowing them to play careful on who Joshua fights next and when.

There is no visible sign of any injury and unless l missed it, no disclosure of what it is either.

Anyone know what this 'mystery' injury actually is? Whatever it is, it is taking a long time to heal. The Dubois fight was 6 months ago and they are saying 8 more weeks? That's an 8 month injury!!

Please. AJ often fights just once a year. Right now, his last fight was in September, and Hearn just announced he got a mysterious injury and, coincidentally, won't be able to fight until the fall! Why he is still rated as a top HW when he pulls stuff like this, gets wrecked badly and then takes a year off, doing nothing. . .he's not even a top 10 HW IRL, but he is highly ranked on paper. My bet is he and "Fast Eddie" Hearn will talk, and talk, and talk about AJ having a big fight with a top named guy, maybe even schedule such a fight, but then, somehow, at the last minute he ends up fighting yet another bum in his 40's. After that, it's another year off! SMH. . .

AJ should focus on the Fury fight. It is the best fight for AJ and it is winnable too.

I think it's a crack of shyte. They're just waiting for Fury to make up his mind I think.

Hearn made the first announcement of this mysterious 'injury' not long after the Dubois fight.

I'm struggling to think of an injury that takes 8 months to heal that shows no visible of being an injury.

Knowing Hearn it will be the path of least resistance back to a Title shot, minimum risk for maximum reward !

Joshua has fought 5 times in the last two years... which is the same or more than most of the other top fighters have fought in that timeframe.

God forbid he takes a bit of a layoff after a devistating stoppage loss.
