RIP champ. One of my all time favorites. I was worried about his health when there were no interviews about the Rumble In The Jungle anniversary.

My grandpa passed away early this morning and now Big George. Two of some of my favorite people in the world gone in the same day. Hard to believe. I’ll miss them both.

Sad news, a great champion, inside and outside the ring, has left us.

R.I.P George, you will never be forgotten.

The Moorer KO was one of the very best in history. And he was always fair towards EVERYONE while announcing.

    Rest in peace George

Well, this just hit me like a ton of bricks. Rest in peace, Big George. One of the most iconic fighters in boxing history. And a life well lived.

Oh gosh this hurts. Very sad news to hear another HW legend gone. Boxing will always remember you for you famous rivalries with Ali and Frazier, incredible brawl with Lyle, destructive KOs, and also your incredible comeback from retirement to take the crown from Moorer. You will truly be missed Big George.

    RIP Champ
