I see all these fantasy fights involving Usyk. A lot of times they involve Usyk with a boxer or a puncher. It's almost pointless to even ask. Nobody is going to load up with 1 shot and hurt Usyk. And nobody is going to outbox him. Besides Ali who could potentially outbox Usyk? He might even outbox Ali.

No. The way to beat Usyk is to bring it. Bite down on the mouthpiece and rough his ass up. Frazier, Marciano and Tyson stop him. Trying to box with him is a waste of time. You have to beat his ass.

I'm a fan of Usyk and I think he is the best fighter of this era p4p. But what pressure fighter has he beaten? Chisora? True, but that is a low level pressure fighter.

i agree. thats why i thought aj could pull it off. he has the physical and technical tools to do it, i just thought he had it in him to fight the fight he needed to fight. he just doesnt have the temperament to fight that fight. or he overthinks it too much in the ring and falls apart in adversity because of it.
you need to throw a lot at him, you cant wait for the opening. punish him when he invades your space, and force yourself into his. dont allow him to dictate when punches get thrown. so dont give him the distance he wants, and force him to adapt.
easier said than done, for this half baked group of fighters.

Marciano ain't stopping usyk man come on
    Frazier I could possibly see
Tyson I heavily favour, but rocky was a buck 90 at best with a full belly. He would get absolutely pieced up

Joe Louis gets battered too. No heavyweight prior Ali could beat usyk, who isn't a large man by modern heavyweight standards, but would be a monster in the 40s/50s

Usyk was beaten when he was 22 by Beterbiev. Also, knocked down and dropped.

Undefeated HW champion with two fisted knock out power and unparalleled endurance, of course it is possible Marciano knocks Usyk out. Not guaranteed but possible. If it goes to the cards it would be Usyk.

Marciano great in his time in a weak era, but let's be real. He's 5'10 at best and under 200lb. He's not a heavyweight by modern standards. He would be fighting bivol/beterbiev if he was fighting today

i think those 2 would be fighting rocky at hw, in his day. unless you think they could fight at the weight theyve been weighing in with, on the same day.

Usyk isn't unbeatable. If he was to face every atg HW thats ever been, he would pick up a loss here and there. Like any boxer would.

I agree about boxers pre Marciano, that level of boxing is definitely inferior to today's standards.

There's not many HWs over time who could outbox Usyk that's for sure.

You know how silly it sounds to say nobody is ever going to out box a fighter ever or catch him with 1 shot? Even Floyd got caught. This fanboyism is way out of hand.

Only ones I can envision maybe outboxing Usyk… MAYBE… is prime Vitali and Wladimir. Because of their range, jabs and power to keep him extra honest. Especially prime Wlad, because of his excellent hand speed. But it would be close!

Prime Usyk would be very capable of beating both though. And I’m a huge Klitschko fan.

What pressure fighter has beaten him?

    Ridiculous double standard of thinking.

By the way, Frazier, Marciano are Tyson from Berbick to Spinks are three of my favs, and I am not saying they have no chance or anything like that. It's just a weird way of thinking to cite that he hasn't beaten a great pressure fighter when he hasn't really fought any.

The overrating of Marciano, Frazier and Tyson continues.

Marciano isnt stopping Usyk, let alone beating him.

    Frazier isnt stopping him.

Mike has a chance early but odds are against it.

    Usyk UDs all three.

Gonna take someone above 5'10" and 73" reach to beat Usyk sorry.

Fury nearly outboxed him. Years of discipline failures cost him down the stretch though.
