Imagine having defense so good, you make boxers with good jabs have bad jabs. A lot of you will be surprised when you finally see SRL fight Floyd, you'd be so surprised how non-aggressive and how punch-hesitant Leonard would be. Who has SRL fought that is even remotely on Floyd's level. Hearn's has low ring IQ, Duran too agressive and bad work ethic. Maybe Hagler but nobody says Hagler better than Floyd. In 10 bouts I see Floyd winning 6 and Leonard winning 4. None KO's each other, all wins are by close decisions. I could even see 2 draws.

 

Floyd def did fight someone like Ray and Ray never fought someone like Floyd. Pacquiao was a Ray Leonard Duran combination put into one abomination and Floyd absolutely schooled Pac. My answer alone beats your entire argument because if you can beat a fighter who has the quality of 2 greats, plus southpaw, you have the blueprint for what it takes to win. Pacquiao had Ray Leonard hand speed and leg speed and had Duran's punching volume and aggressive heart work. Being a fan of Floyd Mayweather makes you the best boxing fans, Floyd himself is not a good person but he has the smartest and most rational fans, that for sure I can vouch for.

 

Don't hit me with Ray fought his father, Floyd is nowhere near the level of his father. Floyd's father was a nobody and ya'll use that as a good win to measure. Floyd fought nothing like his father, name one thing besides their stance that was similar LMFAO, exactly.

Only up to page 8 but my God this thread is insufferable to read. So many deluded posts that try to paint Mayweather as a bum and Leonard as the greatest man to ever lace up a pair of gloves. Neither man blows the other out the water or stops the other. It would be a close, calculated fight between two exceptional pugilists. There's so many rose-tinted glasses in this thread it practically feels like I'm walking through the red town in High Plains Drifter.
