Yeah, Asthma Free Briggs deserves fantasy matchups like Mentally Stable Golota.

If Briggs had been "asthma free" he'd have never been considered as an opponent for Foreman. The Wilson fight and the asthma/stamina problems were the reasons Briggs was given the opportunity to earn big money and fight for the title.

I recently see @Saintpat make a post about Foreman’s shoulder ? And how it effected his right hand right at the end of his career ? Which is probably why Foreman went the distance in his last 3 fights.

A younger fresher Foreman with his right hand fully usable should get rid of Briggs between 6-8.

To beat a guy like that, you'd need Ibeabuchi On Antipsychotic Medication.

Foreman from the Qawi-Cooney fight stops a gassing Briggs, from Holyfield-the actual Briggs fight, he decisions him.
Foreman from the Qawi-Cooney fight beats a few of the guys he lost to, Morrison, Briggs, he’d probably also dispatch of Moorer a bit easier, although would probably still struggle for a bit until the pressure gets to Moorer and he capitulates.

Foreman separates Shannon's mind form his corporael state in under 6.
38 - 40 Foreman might've been one of the greatest h2h heavies ever.

Mike Tyson was terrified of him.

I think of he might’ve ended up beating Morrison and Briggs, but not Moorer because Moorer would’ve beaten any version of Old Foreman on most nights.

Yes he was very active in that period fighting every other month sometimes every month whereas after the Morrison fight he'd often fight with 18 month layoffs.

38-40 Foreman was almost sinister in how he kept fighting and beating shorter heavyweights...the Qawi and Cooper wins showed a small glimpse into his plans for Mike. The Cooney and Rodriguez knockouts were brutal.

I've always claimed the best version of old George beats the best version of his younger self.
