He was retired by an older, smaller middleweight gap tooth rabbit he was supposed to retire. He quit the sport after 2 beatings he got.

Isn’t the common knowledge the rematch favors the superior boxer? Like what happened guys? Wasn’t Usyk supposed to knock Fury out in the rematch according to the Usyk fan girls?

Fury was supposed to knock Usyk out in both fights, and yet, he clearly lost both, being bullied and dropped in the first one. He also took all this extra shyte for the rematch, not speaking to his family, greatest camp in his career and still lost to a smaller, older man who outlanded him in 11 out of 12 rounds and had no problem with speaking to his wife every day. He gave his all and still came up short. No wonder he quit the sport. He was retired by the man he was supposed to retire, lol.

People dismissed both Fury and AJ yet talk Usyk up as an ATG. If Fury and AJ aren't decent fighters...newsflash, they are, then Usyk ain't all that because he went 24 rounds with both. Fight one with AJ was the most conclusive for me, fight two with AJ he looked in trouble albeit briefly before winning clearly again; THAT AJ would have beaten any other current HW on that night for me. Fury first fight it looked like the big lad was running away with it at one point and fight two was very close. All of the fights were scored closely and it doesn't matter if people agree with this or not, they were and remain divisive. So, Usyk won four close (I'd say two, for me he clearly beat AJ both times) fights with the best of his generation. But all were competitive. Some even controversial. It is possible to give credit to all parties. For me, none of the three are ATG status as heavies although Usyk must be an ATG on his Cruiser/Heavy journey. All of them are above average fighters who'd be competitive in any era. You don't have to pin your colours to one mast here, let's appreciate them all and give credit where it's due. People can't slag off AJ and Fury's ability AND give Usyk credit for beating them, can they?

I'm just slagging Fury for the BS that comes out of his mouth and not backing it up in the ring. Also for being a gaslighting liar. I have nothing bad to say about his performances in the ring.

I didn't mean you particularly Mac, it was a general comment, but thanks for taking the time to post a reply.

Realistically it’s not clear that Usyk is the better “boxer” than Fury (meaning skills, as I think this is the way you meant it), to be fair.. and I say this as someone who feels Usyk won both fights clearly.

….but he’s better in a lot of other categories, like discipline both in and outside the ring, conditioning, toughness, and more… making him a clearly superior fighter.

For me, the better 'man' won, one thing I'd dispute is that Usyk is tougher. Fury is an anomaly, his powers of recovery and sheer will to recover are incredible.
