I have to disagree here, DG.

Charlo is a good fighter, but he's never been a very, very special talent at any point in his boxing career.

That jab was pure art though. A dedicated Jermall is a tough night for anybody imo.
I get it though, his style isn't for everyone and doesn't have a lot of frills. I just really like watching him fight. He was just so well-polished, so fundamentally sound, and so versatile.

I certainly agree that he is/was competitive with anyone presently campaigning at 168lbs, including the current version of Canelo.

    Cheers.

Two bum tune ups to build up for a joke of a fight anyway. I expected better from Plant. He had a tune up last fight yet now he is fighting a complete non threat. He really should not even be fighting charlo who is no longer a real fighter. I fk with Plant but looks like he is no longer on the serious path.

The PBC is here to blame, I would wager.

TBF if anythings going to get Charlo up for it, it's a difficult fight with a little bad blood mixed in...

Plant probably still takes it, but I don't think it's a waste of time - especially if Charlo has months to correct that physical slide.

Yes because they make so much money with Plant fighting no name cans right? They don't make anyone fight. Plant and his team choose their opponents.

I don´t think Plant is choosing to fight once a year, especially against no-hopers. Don´t forget that Plant happily took on Uzcategui, Canelo, and Benavidez. The man is up for any challenge.
