Is it possible to argue Aj won 5 rounds in the rematch? Or is that a delusional, moronic opinion? I gave him 3, just interested
Let's see.... Usyk-Joshua II Round 1 Usyk 10-9 Round 2 Joshua 10-9 Round 3 Usyk 10-9 Round 4 Usyk 10-9 Round 5 Usyk 10-9 Round 6 Usyk 10-9 Round 7 Usyk 10-9 Round 8 Usyk 10-9 Round 9 Joshua 10-9 Round 10 Usyk 10-9 Round 11 Usyk 10-9 Round 12 Usyk 10-9 118-110 Usyk Nope!
I didn't score but live it was my impression AJ won 4/5 rounds. I am pretty terrible at scoring fights so don't take my word for it though.
No. A scorer would have had to give every single remotely competitive round to AJ to give him 5 rounds, which isn't realistic
As mentioned in the other thread, I had 4 for AJ with 1 swing. So it's possible he won 5 rounds, but more likely he won 4.
Nah, definitely not 5... 3, maybe 4 at a push. It wasn't necessarily uncompetitive, but there's more to whether a fight is competitive or not than how many rounds should go each way.
Not unless you believe the biased commentary I re-watched it soundless a while ago - AJ would be extremely lucky to get more than 3 rounds. Most of AJ's 'good work' was caught on gloves or deflected. Again, the commentary was shockingly biased.
To be fair the nature of scoring is subjective but you know what I mean. The money man tends to get the benefit of the doubt, so if he is competitive then he can get the nod even if the opponent did the better work
Probably not, it was similar to the second Fury fight in that it was a competitive enough fight, but AJ was losing nearly every round…
I would say Joshua has a reasonably case for 4 rounds but definitely not 5 i had it 9-3 for Usyk. The fight was quite competitive after 9 rounds especially since Joshua was coming off a huge round. But Usyk as he often does and he did the same with Fury he separated himself from Joshua in the later rounds and clearly won in the end. 1 Usyk 2 Joshua 3 Usyk 4 Usyk 5 Usyk 6 Usyk 7 Usyk 8 Joshua 9 Joshua 10 Usyk 11 Usyk 12 Usyk 117-111 Usyk
