The man just can't seem to get a fight after destroying Tszyu.

Murtazaliev wanted Ortiz Jr., but DLH doesn't want it.

Nobody is calling him out and when he calls people out, they go into hiding. Ridiculous.

Can’t blame, he looked like a killer in that fight, although Tszyu seemed like he was practicing blocking punches with his face.

I couldn’t believe how AFTER HE GOT HURT several times, he stood there with no defense whatsoever….

He looked like a slightly less sharp mini-Kovalev in there. Not someone to send your golden goose in against.

I not altogether sold on Murta just yet, his surprising demolition of Zoo notwithstanding.

He certainly looks the part, but his body of work is rather thin.

That's why we want to see more of him in the ring. If nobody wants to fight him, how can he build his resume?

Not slightly, but far less sharp. Kovalev was many levels above him.

Yeah I'm not saying he's Kovalev. I'm saying he puts peoples lights out, throws a really nice 1-2-1, and speaks Russian. Clearly knows some of the same tricks as Kovalev. Not on his level though.

Besides the punch selection, He definitely has some similar mannerisms to Kovalev, similar rhythm and such.

They do share some similarities, but there are also a lot of differences. Murtazaliev is a counter-puncher and he looks to counter every punch. While he doesn't have Kovalev's speed and sharpness, his counters makes him just as dangerous because you can't see those punches coming.

I think Ortiz will eventually fight him. His back-to-back wins over Bohachuk and Madrimov, two of the toughest outs in the division, demonstrate he's more than willing to fight the best.

I'd like to see Murta fight Fundora.

I think a lot of us saw his fight against Jack Culcay and though he wasn't that good.

What I didn't know was that he fought Culcay during the 27th day of Ramadan, which prohibited him from eating or drinking from sunrise to sundown for the final three-plus weeks of training camp and the day of their fight.

That's why he looked a bit sluggish in that fight. Can you imagine not being able to drink water for a good part of the day during training or on the day of the fight? Crazy.

Hate when I see this posted. Literally do exactly what GGG did. Take every/any fight against every/any prospect. Petition belt orgs to be mandatory challenger and champions either take the fight or drop the belt. GGG developed a following so big that high profile fighters were forced to face him (Canelo, Jacobs, Stevens, etc.)

That extra 1 after the 1-2 is such a disruptive punch that provides great cover to get out of range of return fire or to stay in range for more followups, always surprised more people don't utilise it

He has one really good win and now the division is avoiding him?.......lol. Nice try.

Nobody is calling him out, because he's not a name that helps anyone's career. He has a world title and there are multiple opponents who would love to get the opportunity, but stop the nonsense that this man is some sort of 'Boogieman'.

Murtazaliev was asked about Crawford and he was casual about it. Yes, he said he would love to get that fight, but what actions did he take to get that fight... Who are these 'people' that he's calling out. Crawford wasn't it. Charlo is allegedly back in the game and he claims he's coming for all his belts.....has Murtazaliev mentioned him. Then there's Conwell, Zayas, Barauo, Kelly, & Ramos waiting in the wing looking for a shot at a title.

This is a man who isn't aggressively seeking any fight yet being claimed to be avoided. Make it make sense.

New fans need to stop trying to use fear to advertise their favorite fighter. Everyone wants to claim that some fighter is being avoided as a marketing strategy as if this man strikes fear in the hearts of the division. That crap is played out. These fighters aren't afraid of each other. It's a business and there's politics they have to weave through to get the fights they want because so many people are looking to get paid. off of their blood, sweat, and tears.
