    The fight itself was a shocker tbf but i had TKV up 3-2 and jabbing his way to the belt, the ref cost him his health the belt and a big payday next as champion imo.

    If the ref shouts break twice loudly and pulls your arm away, it is very much a foul for the guy to punch you out." Defend yourself at all times" is just a reference to general common sense safety in the ring - it being your own responsibility etc - it does NOT mean, and never has meant, that there aren't many many situations in a boxing match where its illegal to punch the other guy.
