I was just telling my wife, from Manchester, how British commentators are so biased.

You would think by the way they were talking, Joyce has it won like 9-1 smh.

That was a 7-3 affair for Hrgovic.

Joyce is old, slow but still has a decent chin.

Can't hate Hrgovic getting the nod, but 8-2 is pretty damned egregious.

Anyhow, onto the Torrez-Vianello card to keep this boxing day going! :ggg

I'm sorry, WTF is up with that ref in the Adeleye - Tshikeva fight? Calling "Break" twice and yet he still counts a knockdown against Tshikeva? I think Tshikeva's team has a very legit complaint to file.

Filip got still few thing to think about.
    1. He is slow starter.
    2. His footwork should be much better in 1 part of fight.
    3. Learn (for God sake) use Your great size. Jab!!! Where is Jab!!!
    4. You cant be lazy in this level. Filip is lazy sometimes...
    5. He is easy to cuts...
    6. Start work on Your fitness on higher level
    7. Too much try to be super power puncher- many try maximum power punch but still effect not soo perfect. Relax. Just box better. With Your size and dinamic this should work just fine.

Hope Sanchez can fix some problem and make him better. He used to work with "slower" guy with good chin and power punch. Maybe he can improve Filip.

Joyce is 1-4 over his last five fights now. Time to call it a career, dude takes way too much punishment in every fight.

As always, there's an outlier judge... 98-92 ...? I saw it a bit closer. Though I did of course give it to Hrgovic.

And both Joyce and Hrgovic were true gentlemen. I luv Joyce asking the crowd "Are you not entertained?" As good a response as I've heard to the standard "retirement" question.

id love to understand the physiology of the cut thing and white dudes. Clearly not all, but a lot of white fighters seems really prone to cuts, scratches, etc. most of the white fighters on this card had cuts all over their torsos by the end of their fights; this didn’t happen to the black and brown fighters. What’s up with that?

I’m a white dude, my wife is Mexican, and watched this event with me. She pointed out the cut up torsos and it got us into a funny discussion about skin. We were trying to see if her skin seems tougher than mine. My facial bones seemed sharper than hers feeling them side by side, but talking about fighters torsos, that doesn’t seem relevant. She thinks it’s maybe a skin thickness thing? No isea.
