Fair point, fair point, though I would say an experienced Leonard could draw Floyd, it is extremely difficult to beat Floyd even for HOF fighters.
I feel like for Leonard to beat Floyd, Leonard has to go out of his comfort zone and change his style completely, no showboating, no fancy footwork, no overwhelming, Leonard has to be very, very cautious and he has to be super duper boring to beat Floyd, that's the only way I can see it. Making it boring can allow Leonard to adjust more and be more cautious while using his different skills at different spurts, I feel like if Leonard can make the fight super boring, he has a higher chance to win but still not enough, but a 50/50 chance to beat Floyd.
If Floyd fight at Leonard weight class, Floyd win my MD, if Leonard fight at Floyd weight class, Floyd UD leonard.
Maybe like the Hagler fight, although he would be more of like darting in and out a bit more to flurry and convince the judges, and keep Floyd's head constantly jabbed too, Leonard MD.
I can def see a Leonard super close decision, I can also say the same for Floyd, I guess it depends on who was more well prepared. This is if Floyd moves up to Leonard's middleweight. I will def not see Floyd lose if Leonard goes to Welter or lightweight.
Leonard wins as he would make Mayweather finally fight for a change. Close fight but Leonard takes nod
Not an easy fight for both but Floyd wins convincingly. 65/45 fight with Mayweather having the 65%. In a series of 10 matches I have Mayweather winning 7 and Leonard winning 3
srl bigger so gotta favour him in general. i'd need more weights and years to make a definitive pick on a specific fight
If we saying prime, then we gotta go with a catchweight between welter and lightweight. If we going catchweight I can see Mayweather doing some magic tactics that can't be explained to edge out a decision.
SRL has the size advantage, SRL has quicker feet but not quicker hands. I think Floyd could edge it out.
